INTRODUCTION
This day-long training in Shanghai on the fundamentals of Chinese employment law and practice is aimed at senior managers who have relatively little background in Chinese employment law or feel they need an update on the latest developments. This training will be similar to the course the presenter has provided twice a year in London since 2013.
The training will focus on the black letter law as well as the practical realities of doing business in China. The morning session will cover:

Recruitment
Employment and service contracts
Employee termination
The afternoon session:
Work rules
Wage and hour issues
Employee benefits
Discrimination and harassment
Data protection and privacy
Dispute resolution
Union issues
Employment of foreign nationals
This event is offered only on-site in Shanghai, is complimentary, is given in English, and is intended for senior HR, legal, and management staff. Attendance will be limited to 10 persons in order to facilitate information sharing between the speaker and participants. A simple lunch will be provided.
