全球疫情挑战下的

国际教育研讨会

新冠疫情的全球性爆发对世界格局和国际秩序造成了猛烈冲击。短期而言，全球的经济社会活动趋于停顿，损失巨大；而疫情蔓延所引发的中长期次生灾害，对世界各国的产业发展、社会形态甚至安全和战略都将产生重大影响，高度全球化的国际教育领域不可避免地受到波及。据联合国教科文组织消息，疫情已经造成全球184个国家关闭境内部分或者全部线下教育机构，近15.34亿学生的学业受到影响。4月13日，世卫组织总干事谭德塞也表示，目前大量学校关闭，约14亿儿童无法上学。目前，包括托福、雅思、GRE等语言类考试，以及A-level、AP、IB等国际课程类考试在内的重要标准化考试机构纷纷宣布临时取消近期考试安排，大部分高校宣布推迟开学以及调整国际学生的招生计划，涉及跨国跨境留学的国际教育正面临巨大挑战。此外，由于疫情导致的社会问题和安全问题也给国际学生及家长们带来更多忧虑。

疫情对国际教育行业带来巨大且深远影响的同时，更让我们意识到世界是紧密相连的，没有任何一个国家可以是“孤岛”。在这种情况下，加强各国协调合作、完善全球治理体系成为必然要求和唯一出路，国际化人才培养仍然是不可阻挡的历史潮流。

面对这次史无前例的挑战，越来越多的国际教育问题被大家关注讨论：

—— 中国的国际学校、留学机构以及相关的行业组织该如何调整战略？

—— 为应对疫情，国内外政府机构、国际大学的措施和政策可能出现哪些变化？

—— 国际学生以及家长该如何应对？

—— 从短期和长期来看，出国留学的前景如何？我们如何把挑战转化为机遇？

……

为探讨可行性解决方案和可能出现的新趋势，中国教育国际交流协会出国留学服务分会联合南南国际教育智库研究院共同主办的“全球疫情挑战下的国际教育战略”研讨会于4月19日正式召开。

届时，国际教育相关协会组织负责人、全球教育留学机构负责人、留学招生官、国际学校校长、国际教育领域专家学者等中外嘉宾将汇聚线上，从各自领域出发，围绕“疫情下的国际教育”这一主题，共同探讨并分享他们对今后出国留学形势的见解和建议。

关于南南国际教育智库研究院

About the Institute of International Education South-South Cooperation

The Research Institute of International Education South-South Cooperation was founded under the guidance of the Council for Promoting South-South Cooperation. It focuses on the research of international education, and aims at facilitating development and cooperation in international education within China and abroad, especially in the BRI (Belt and Road Initiatives) countries.In the era of globalization and digitalization, the educational institute devotes to strengthening the relationship among the international education-related government departments, higher education institutes and international organizations, following the development trends and promoting government- institution collaboration, engaging in research projects and practices, enhancing the interactions of the educational institutes in China and abroad, thus establishing a platform for communication and a network for connection.Based on the practices of providing industrial suggestions, carrying out research projects, and initiating workshops and forums, the institute aims to fulfill the targets of propelling communication and cooperation in education between China and the world, sharing experience and expertise, advancing reform and innovation in international education globally, and at the meantime, to build itself into a leading institute in the circle of educational think tanks home and abroad.
