正如大家所知道的那样，在全球反洗钱及CRS的背景下，各国银行业都面临着空前严格的监管，从某种程度上来说，目前对银行及银行的客户都是比较艰难的时刻。所以，我们希望不是只去抱怨，而是一起拿出实际行动来帮助大家一点一滴的克服一些困难，共同应对。
上次《塞岛家园》组织的“塞浦路斯银行BANK OF CYPRUS”官方答疑活动，尚有部分提问没有得到官方答复，最近“塞浦路斯银行BANK OF CYPRUS”如期把官方答复推送给《塞岛家园》！敬请提问的亲们来关注！
毫无疑问，由于中国和欧盟境内银行体系的巨大差异，以及反洗钱、CRS等等合规规范要求日益严格，因此，几乎所有在塞浦路斯的投资者和在塞居住生活的侨民，在最近一段时期都或多或少地感受到在银行账户方面的一些疑问。
所以银行相关问题，也成为《塞岛家园》群里最常被讨论的话题。作为塞浦路斯最大的银行“塞浦路斯银行BANK OF CYPRUS”积极关注到这一现象，非常重视中国客户的需求，塞浦路斯银行BANK OF CYPRUS国际业务主管Costas Costa先生在中国视察工作期间主动与《塞岛家园》联系，组织专班，首批回复了《塞岛家园》群内集中反应的一些疑问，并承诺与《塞岛家园》确立沟通渠道，在以后将定期回复《塞岛家园》搜集到的“塞浦路斯银行BANK OF CYPRUS”的用户提问。

I want to know, if I apply to open an account in Pafos branch, Bank Of Cyprus, what document I need to supply?
A
The documents for account opening are the same in all branches of the Bank. The customer has to fill in the application for opening of account and provide with the Passport and Proof of Address. Furthermore the customer must be in position to provide with any documentation that might be requested so as to proof the source of Wealth and Source of Funds.
在本行开户所需文件在所有分行均相同。 客户必须填写开户申请表，并提供护照和地址证明。 此外，客户必须提供能证明财富来源和资金来源的银行可能要求的文件。

The national defense tax we paid while we were applying for PR, how can we apply for refund through bank? What documents we need to supply?
A
The application for any tax refund has to be made directly to the Tax authorities. The customer needs to provide with the IBAN number of the Bank account so as to receive the refund.
任何退国防税申请必须直接向税务机关申请。 客户需要提供银行账户的IBAN号码才能收到退款。

The exchange commission is 0,4% min Eur5,- max Eur400,-

I want to know, for applying passport, can I transfer fund from my account in Hongkong or Dubai? Do I need to provide the assets certificate also taxation certificate?
Concerning the 2million fund for applying passport, do I need to provide the legal documentation concerning source of fund and taxation certificate?
A
Funds can be received from Hong Kong or Dubai. Regarding the proof of Funds the customer must be able to provide any documentation that might be requested so as to prove the source of Funds and the Source of Wealth. These documents depend on the profile of each customer and vary according to the case.
资金可以从香港或迪拜账户打过来。 关于资金来源证明，客户必须能够提供银行可能要求的任何文件以证明资金来源和财富来源。 这些文件取决于每个客户的个人实际情况，并根据具体情况而会有所不同。

Can I transfer my account from IBU to local branch? How can I apply?
A
If the customer is a Cyprus resident and can communicate in English or Greek then can apply to the IBU requesting the transfer of the account to a local Branch.
如果客户是塞浦路斯居民并且可以用英语或希腊语进行交流，那么可以向IBU申请将账户转移到当地其他分行。

Concerning existing client’s bank account review, can Bank Of Cyprus be more international, do not require the paper bill of utility bill, can you accept the E-Bill ?
A
Proof of address can only be a hardcopy of a recent utility bill or a Bank statement from a Country in the EU or third equivalent country. For Chinese residents we can accept Hukoe Bo.
根据我行规定，地址证明只能是近期的公用事业账单（水，电，气等）或来自欧盟国家或第三等同国家的银行对账单的纸制原件。 对于中国居民，我们可以接受户口本原件或双认证件。

1，如果是美元会马上转为欧元?
2.如果不能马上转为欧元，是提取日转还是随便律师几时转?

5.退一万步如果汇入塞浦路斯银行的美元和欧元，按要求提供不了这么多年的工资收入的话点办?

1，I want to know, if I want to transfer 10 000eur to my lawyer’s account,
if I transferred in USD, whether the fund would be exchanged to EUR directly?
If the lawyer does not maintain an account in USD then the amount will be converted into EUR
1，如果律师没有美元账户，那么该金额将会被转换为欧元入账
2，If can not be done immediately, whether it would be exchanged on the date of withdraw, or it’s up to lawyer when it would be exchanged?
The transfer is executed at the date of the instructions of the customer and if there is any exchange involved then it is done immediately.

3，If the usd fund exchanged to eur fund, would bank provide any receipt to sender?
In any case the sender receives a receipt of the transfer online.

4，For lawyer to withdraw cash, how many years’ salary income certificate we need to supply? Do you have any related regulation?
Withdrawals of cash have limitations from the Central Bank of Cyprus. They have to be justified and cannot exceed 10.000 Euros.
4，提取现金受到塞浦路斯中央银行的限制。 必须有正常理由，并且每月不能超过10,000欧元。
5，For the fund( usd or euro) that we transferred to our account in Bank of Cyprus, if we can not provide the income certificate according to your regulation, what would bank do to this fund?
This question can not be answered in general but depending on the case. In general any documents or information requested by the Bank,have to be provided in logical time. In other case the Bank has the right to freeze the account until the relative documents or information is provided.

1.There are no ‘offshore accounts in Bank of Cyprus’ . The same accounts can be used by Foreign and Local Entities and are treated and regulated exactly in the same way.
塞浦路斯银行没有所谓的离岸账户，我行的账户都是可供国外客户和塞浦路斯当地客户使用的账户，没有区别。

2. No, Maintaining an account in Bank of Cyprus does not create any tax obligations in Cyprus.

5.Please contact the Bank directly for detailed information on the procedure and documents required to open a company account.

6. All customers have to provide evidence for the Source of Wealth. Any funds emanated from illegal activities or related with sanctioned Countries or Restricted Categories of activities are not acceptable.
