HPP 在布达佩斯南门总体规划竞赛中取得佳绩

布达佩斯——匈牙利的首都，这颗“多瑙河的明珠”将迎来其城市发展的新动力。今年7月，匈牙利政府发起了布达佩斯南门总体规划国际竞赛，旨在为该区域打造宜居的环境，并促进布达佩斯这座城市的整体发展。HPP和匈牙利本地及国际范围内其它16家知名设计事务所一起受邀参加了此次竞赛。

Budapest, “Pearl of the Danube”, the capital and financial center of Hungary, will gain a new impetus for its urban development. In July 2018, the Budapest South Gate International Master Plan Design Competition was launched by the Hungarian government with the intention of promoting a livable urban development in the design area, thereby facilitating the overall future development of the capital city. HPP was invited to participate in the competition together with 16 other design communities both Hungarian and international.

The design area contains 7 zones differentiated by their respective functions. 

本次竞赛的设计区域位于布达佩斯市中心的南部，滨水是其一个主要特征，设计范围约280公顷，按照功能不同划分为7个区域。HPP的设计方案通过优化对多瑙河的可达性来创造其独特的身份标识。此外，全新的体育场馆和公共休闲空间不仅将使当地居民受益，还将在更广泛的范围内提供持久价值。

The Master Plan Competition site is located at the south of Budapest’s city center, with water as a prominent geographic feature and an area of about 280 hectares, containing 7 zones differentiated by their respective functions. HPP’s masterplan for the site focuses on creating an identity for Budapest through enhancing its accessibility to the River Danube. Furthermore, sports facilities and public recreational areas will be created, not only to benefit the inhabitants, but also bring long-lasting effects to a wider urban region.

这场竞赛已经完美收官。当地时间12月19 日，颁奖仪式于布达佩斯市政中心举行；布达佩斯市长出席了典礼和晚宴。HPP的设计获得好评，同Sasaki, UNStudio等国际知名设计事务所一起入选方案购买名单。HPP此次的可喜佳绩归功于中国、德国和土耳其办公室的跨区域合作，建筑、规划和景观团队为时两个月的携手努力，以及景观和交通顾问的支持。

The awards ceremony and the following banquet dinner were held on December 19th (local time) in the city hall of Budapest, Hungary, with the attendance of the mayor of Budapest. HPP’s design was elected into the purchase-prize list together with other celebrated firms like Sasaki Associates, UNStudio, etc. The delightful result of HPP owes to the 2-month cross-regional collaboration of offices in China, Germany and Turkey, along with the cooperation of our architects, urban and landscape designers, as well as the assistance of landscape and transport consultants.

Budapest enjoys an abundant historical and cultural heritage, the features of which were taken into account by HPP during the design phases, so as to bring vigor to its urban development while maintaining the unique characteristics of the city. HPP is so glad to have joined in this competition to present a livable, green and sustainable new area, thereby catalyzing an ever more fascinating future of Budapest.
