Friday, Jan 22
Super Powers - An Online Workshop for Kids
Wind down and craft this Friday evening with a fun creative workshop designed to help your kids unleash their inner powers! This session, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, is suited for kids approximately 7-12 years old and will involve origami, crafting, meditation, and much more. It’s free to attend, but be sure to register and prepare the simple craft materials beforehand.

Roblox Party for Coding Kids
In case you haven’t heard, Roblox parties are a thing. Hosted in dedicated servers within the hugely popular online gaming platform, they are a big hit with kids. This party is hosted by a British coding association and is a great way for young coders to meet one another. The party itself will feature “bright lights, music and dazzling structures”, mini-challenges to solve, and different areas of the map to explore.

Improvisation for Kids! Saturday Morning Drop-in Sessions
Led by two experienced and talented improv theatre professionals, this fun drop-in class is hosted from Liverpool, UK every Saturday. Aimed at kids 8-14, it features structured improv games that are designed to enhance skills like listening, focussing, and giving attention. It helps build emotional resilience and joyful play attitudes in kids and is just plain good fun.

Gratitude Bot Making Party
“Make a Robot. Feel more Human”. That’s the motto of Botjoy, an artistic movement that aims to spread love, courage, joy, and gratitude through the world via their cute little robots generally painted on the back of a domino and infused with good intentions for anyone who receives it. Anybody can make a bot and you don’t actually need a domino to do so either, paper and pens are just as good! This all-ages online craft session is dedicated to creating Gratitude Bots: which carry an infinite supply of thanks and gratitude, which we can all use at the moment. Registration is limited so don’t dilly dally if you’re interested in attending.

Flextangle Paper Toy Crafting
Here’s another crafty activity to keep the kids occupied on Sunday morning: hosted by Kids Online English school, this session is will teach you and your little ones how to make a “flextangle”, a mesmerizing 3D toy that you can decorate in a variety of fun ways. A printable template will be provided for the class, but glue and other crafting materials should be prepared in advance.
