Chaoyang Park

This is one of the best parks to go to in Beijing. They have rides such as rollercoasters and in the winter ice skating is available too. In the summer it is the perfect time to go for a picnic. With trees surrounding the park, it has the perfect amount of shade. As it’s right next to Solana (shopping mall), it is very convenient to go to a restaurant right after enjoying a walk in the park.

Universal Studios

This is a wonderful place to hang out with friends and also to go on rides based on your favorite movies. Fans of Harry Potter will love it, as you can even visit Hogwarts and choose your wand. Rollercoasters of every kind are available too, so everyone has a ride they feel comfortable going on. Although it might be crowded during the weekends, it is still worth it.

Happy Valley

This is another great place to hang out with friends and go on intense rollercoasters – a fun way to spend a whole day outdoors. With shows in the evening too, spending the whole day here will not have you bored. For people that enjoy going here a lot there is even a year card membership, which enables you to go how many times you want. As this is a popular place it may be crowded when going, but it is still worth it overall.

Hutongs

An exceptional place to find aesthetic clothes and objects. Many local delicacies can be found here too. Vintage shops are very common and it’s a great place to find older things. Friends can come here and explore the streets filled with goods. This is also a great place to try out new restaurants or cafes as there are an immense amount.

798 Art District

A must-go place for everyone, with all the art museums and activities you cannot get bored here. With statues and painting welcoming you in every street, it is perfect for taking pictures too. For people that have always wanted to go to pet cafes, here you will find some. New expeditions are always introduced meaning that every time you come there is something new to find.

RED ONE Go Cart

This is another activity full of excitement for teens. If you enjoy trying new things, this is perfect.  A great way to spend an afternoon, as this is a thrilling experience. For people who want to do competitions, this is a fun way. You can race each other and see who drives faster!

Liangma River

An aesthetic place which has a beautiful outdoor environment. With a river flowing right beside it, it’s a peaceful place to go to. Restaurant and shops surround it making it the perfect place to hangout with friends. You can even eat at one of the restaurants which has a view of the river.

Sanlitun

One of the trendiest places with a variety of shops and restaurants available. Hundreds of people come during the weekend to hang out here. From restaurants to shops, they have it all. This is a must go hang out place. If you want to go shopping, this is the place to go. In the evening when the lights are on, it has a very welcoming ambience.
