Peking Man and

the First Beijingers

Last chance!


China Culture Plus presents a family educational event at the UNESCO Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site.


See stone tools, extinct animals, and human evolution. Learn about the lives of the first people to live in Beijing (between 10,000 and 700,000 years ago), climate change, and the amazing extinct animals of Beijing like hyenas, saber-toothed tigers, rhinos, and giant ostriches. 


This is an expert-led tour of the museum and UNESCO caves by Dr. Thomas Stidham, a paleontologist from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This is Dr Tom's last such tour as he will be leaving China this summer, so make sure you don't miss it! Check out our post on this tour for more details.

Cooking classes for kids are available every Saturday and Sunday at EAST Beijing. In May, kids will learn how to make sushi. Price is RMB 188/kid and includes one glass of fresh juice. For bookings and reservation, add: EBJ-RB

Mama & Baby Fit

& Lunch Time Yoga

With Marie

Join Marie and other moms for a light outdoor circuit training in Chaoyang Park! The sessions consist of cardio, strengthening, and toning full-body exercises, integrating your baby and the stroller. You meet other moms and get to enjoy a great community! Trial classes available. Marie also teaches yoga at Avisha Space, so you might want to join her on Thursdays for quick lunch break stretching sessions. Scan the QR codes on the posters to sign up.

Club
