Tourist forced to carry lazy ’50 kg’ dog down mountain

Over the Spring Festival holiday, one dog owner seemed to end up regretting his decision to bring his pup along with the family to climb a scenic mountain.


An incredible clip has gone viral on Chinese social media showing the poor guy lugging his “50 kg” canine down the mountain’s stone steps, as fellow tourists on either side do double takes:

However, the dog owner has since stepped forward on Weibo to set the record straight, alleging that his beloved Tank (坦克) is having its reputation falsely defamed online, he explains that Tank is not so lazy and weighs a mere 35 kg.


“I want to explain, [it] does not shed fur, has no stench, is the second most intelligent dog in the world, clings to people, and has excellent movement skills,” he adds playfully.
