Global Finance Function:
The Finance team at Blackstone comprises of Finance, Internal Audit, Treasury, and Tax functions.
International Finance manages the financial, regulatory and tax reporting requirements of all Blackstone Group entities based outside the US. International Finance is largely based in London but also has staff in Brazil, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Mumbai, Singapore and Tokyo. Our vision is to be:

Hong Kong Finance is responsible for maintaining the legal books and records of Blackstone’s asset management sub-advisory entities in Hong Kong. And it also provides a value-add end-to-end support to all the Businesses of Blackstone Hong Kong. In particular, it is responsible for:
- Maintaining adequate controls for the financial reporting requirements of Blackstone Hong Kong entities under US and local GAAP
- Ensuring that Blackstone is compliant with all Hong Kong regulatory reporting, tax and audit requirements related to the Hong Kong entities
- Managing cash-flow and working capital requirements including oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll in conjunction with the relevant global function
- Implementing and executing strategic and/or re-engineering initiatives of the Firm across Asia
- Providing relevant management information to Businesses, Governance bodies (e.g. Boards), global Financial Planning & Analysis and Expense Reporting Groups
Internship Description:
The International Finance team is looking for a 6-month Finance intern to join in 2022, who can commit to full-time employment from July to December 2022.
The candidate will gain a broad exposure to Finance in full spectrum and an opportunity to work closely with individuals across various teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with other offices in New York and Asia offices
- Assisting the finance team in their day to day responsibilities which ranges from booking of accounting entries, reconciliations, analysis of foreign currency exposure, intercompany settlements, tax returns, regulatory reporting and regulatory surveys
- Management and ad-hoc reporting – preparation of various internal and external reporting via Excel and PowerPoint
- Assist in technology and process improvement initiatives for finance team
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects
职位要求：
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot table and basic formulas
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze and consolidate large volumes of data
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English)
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills across all levels
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints
To be considered for the 2022 Off-cycle Intern Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate
- Undergraduate in their second or third year of study in a 4-year degree program
- Commit to working full time for the entire duration of the internship
- Degree major in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
