2019年9月16日，新西兰律师事务所——LANE NEAVE的首席合伙人和中国区主任到访北京市炜衡律师事务所，与炜衡管理委员会张小炜主席、北京市炜衡律师事务所主任林飞律师、特殊资产管理法律事业部主任胡波律师、刑事辩护部主任彭逸轩律师，进行了合作会谈，探讨了两家律师事务所的合作事宜。

On September 16, 2019, the Equity Partner and the Director of China Business of LANE NEAVE, a New Zealand law firm, visited Beijing W&H Law Firm and had cooperation talks on the potential cooperation opportunities between LANE NEAVE and Beijing W&H Law Firm (“cooperation talks”) with Mr. Zhang Xiaowei, the chairman of Beijing W&H Law firm Management Committee, Mr. Lin Fei, the Director of Beijing W&H Law Firm, Mr.Hu Bo, the Director of the Special Asset Management Legal Department of Beijing W&H Law Firm, Mr. Peng Yixuan, the Director of the Criminal Defense Department of Beijing W&H Law Firm.

会谈中，双方就将来打破传统模式，展开嵌入式合作等计划的具体细节进行了深入探讨。双方相谈甚欢，并约定了后续深入合作。

During the cooperation talks, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on the specific details of future corporation plans relating to breaking the traditional model and launching an embedded legal cooperation model. Both sides had enjoyable and pleasant talks and agreed on the follow-up in-depth cooperation.

LANE NEAVE是一家历史悠久的新西兰律师事务所,已经成立151年，是新西兰政府机构指定合作的少数律师事务所之一。目前LANE NEAVE也是横跨新西兰国土面积最大的律师事务所，在新西兰四大主要的城市设有分部。

时值新春佳节前夕，LANE NEAVE相关负责人计划再度来京，与北京市炜衡律师事务所签署正式合作协议，探讨具体合作项目方案，并与相应律师及负责人交流双边法律法规政策及可接洽合作内容等等。

As Chinese Spring Festival is upcoming, the principals of Lane Neave are planning to visit Beijing again. They will sign a formal cooperation agreement with Beijing W&H Law Firm, and discuss the bilateral laws, regulations, policies and potential joint projects with principals and lawyers of Beijing W&H Law Firm.

本次的深入合作是继炜衡律师事务所4名律师出席2019世界律师大会后，又一炜衡打造国际法务商务中心的重大之举，与习近平主席在二〇二〇年新年贺词中倡导的国际合作，维护多边主义高度一致。

“我们愿同世界各国人民携起手来，积极共建‘一带一路’，推动构建人类命运共同体，为创造人类美好未来而不懈努力。”

This in-depth cooperation is another important gesture of W&H Law Firm to build an international legal business center following attending the 2019 Global Lawyers Forum by four lawyers from W&H Law Firm.This is also highly responsive to international cooperation and maintaining multilateralism advocated by President Xi Jinping in the New Year's speech of congratulation of 2020. 

 President Xi said:

“We are willing to join hands with people of all countries in the world to build together the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ and push forward the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and make unremitting efforts for the creation of a beautiful future for mankind.”
