Happy Spring Festival! 春节快乐！

Our YCIS Beijing community enjoyed a wonderful day of celebration last Wednesday at our annual Temple Fair. Our Staff and their families also celebrated together on Tuesday evening at our Chinese New Year Celebration Dinner. These two events reminded all of us of the special spirit of family and community that is so deeply rooted in the traditions of Chinese New Year and the values which underpin YCIS. 

周二晚上，我们耀中大家庭在一起庆祝新年，度过了一个非常美好的夜晚。家庭和集体这种特别的精神深深根植于中国新年之中，也是耀中的基础。

While it will still be cold when we return to school, we know that Spring is on the way. Just as the farmers will begin to till the soil in preparation for the Spring planting, our senior students will begin their preparations for the forthcoming examinations. Our very best wishes go to all our families as we welcome in the Year of the Rooster. As his crow heralds the beginning of a new day, we look forward to sharing the new year with you all. Have a great time together with your family and friends and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

虽然假期结束之后天气仍旧寒冷，但是春天就要到来。农民们将耕耘土地准备播种，我们高年级的学生也将开始准备他们的考试。在此我们祝所有人鸡年大吉，新年快乐，阖家团聚！
