He threw it still higher – – and caught it. “Who will be my friends?” asked Freddy. “We will,” said the boys. “We need someone who can throw and catch like that.” “Let’s shake on it,” said Freddy. 1.本书画面可爱，语句简单又不断重复，讲的是一个名叫Freddy的男孩交朋友的故事。他搬到了新家，渴望交到朋友。可是小猫小狗不会和他玩，而警察、邮递员、清洁工虽然都很愿意成为他的朋友，却都各有各的工作要做。操场上的男孩子也都只顾玩自己的，于是Freddy自己玩起了球。由于他玩球技术高超，每次都能准确接住扔到空中的球，吸引了其他的男孩，最后大家都成了好朋友。
2.面对一个新环境，孩子会有怎样的反应呢？应该教会孩子大胆的和他人交朋友，跟同伴们一起玩耍。
1. 爸爸妈妈先看图片讲述故事内容，之后和孩子一起进行亲子阅读。问问孩子Freddy都想和谁交朋友？最后他有没有教导朋友呢？
2.读到Freddy玩球的时候，可以跟孩子进行仍球、接球游戏。告诉孩子也能和Freddy一样厉害，做个接球高手。
