University of Auckland Dance Group Visit

We are delighted to announce that the Dance Group of the University of Auckland is returning to DCSZ on Friday 18 January 2019 for a one-day workshop and performance. The dancers explore diverse ways in which, we connect with ancestors, land, culture and rivals. The show specifically explores how women support each other and celebrates their powerful roles in diverse contexts. 

Twenty five selected students from the Junior School and Senior School will take part in the finale of their annual performance at the College. This includes working with the dancers on Friday afternoon and performing on stage in the evening. We ar­e very excited to see them perform!

This event is one of Dulwich College International's annual diversity events for students. Dulwich College International collaborates with selected universities and organisations from around the world to provide exceptional opportunities for our students to learn directly from practitioners in a range of disciplines. In addition to the University of Auckland Dance Company, our partners also include the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Northern College of Music, Berklee College of Music, Vienna Boys Choir, etc.
