海亮外国语学校(HFLS) 已被国际教育文凭组织（IBO）授权为候选学校，目前已全面启动IB课程认证工作。海亮外国语学校现已开设IB小学段PYP课程，并预计获得IBO授权后在高中开设IB的大学预科Diploma Programme课程。
HFLS is a candidate school for the IB Diploma Programme and is pursuing authorization as an IB world school. IB PYP is currently offered in HFLS and DP will be offered after the IBO authorization.

经过几十年的研究和实践，IB已经发展出一整套成熟的课程和评估体系，包括四大板块：3-12岁的IB小学项目（PYP），11-16岁的IB中学项目（MYP），16-19岁的大学预科项目（DP）以及16-19岁的职业教育项目（CP）。
After decades of research and practice, IB has developed a whole set of curriculum and assessment system. It includes PYP, MYP, DP and CP for student aged 3 to 12, 11 to 16, and 16 to 19 respectively.
IBDP，即大学预科项目，为16-19岁的学生提供了富有挑战的，国际定位的，广泛而平衡的教育经历。要求学生在两年的时间里同时学习六个科目和三个核心课程。该项目旨在使学生具备未来大学课程学习，继续教育以及所选职业中所需要的基本学术能力。大学预科项目（DP）获得了世界一流大学的认可，世界顶尖名校通常更青睐于招收DP毕业生。
IBDP provides an all-round and balanced educational experience for students aged 16 to 19. Six subjects and three core courses are required over two years, which equip students with academic skills for further education and career. DP graduates are highly recognized by top universities.

HFLS IB Community
2019年11月，海亮外国语学校成功举办IBDP信息分享会。目前，海亮外国语学校已被国际教育文凭组织(IBO)授权为IBDP候选学校，海外IB Community成员们将齐心协力致力于做好取得IBDP课程认证的准备工作。海外IB PYP阶段也在海亮教育研究院的支持下完成了课程研发与落地以及师资培训，后续教育研究院也将继续跟进IB DP和IB PYP项目工作。
In November 2019, HFLS held its IBDP information session and our IB Community members will make concerted efforts for the IBDP authorization. Hailiang Education Research Institute (HERI) has supported HFLS achieving curriculum development, practical implementation and teacher training for IB Primary Years Program. HERI will keep providing support for HFLS in IB DP and PYP programs subsequently.
