Guoguo:Hi, Mike! I didn’t see you in school on Monday.
果果：你好，麦克，我周一在学校没看到你呀。
Mike:My parents and I took a trip last weekend. We missed our flight and came back late.
麦克：上周末我和父母去旅行了。我们没赶上飞机所以回来晚了。
Guoguo:Where did you go?
果果：你们去哪了？
Mike: we flew to Hangzhou.
麦克：我们飞去杭州了。
Guoguo:How did you miss the flight?
果果：你们怎么会错过飞机？
Mike:Last Sunday afternoon, at the airport I found I left my passportin the hotel. So we went back for it, and the we missed the flight.
麦克：上周日下午，在机场我发现我把护照落在了酒店。所以我们回去拿，然后就没赶上飞机。
Guoguo:I’m sorry to hear that. Your parents must be upset.
果果：真是遗憾，你的父母肯定很难过。
Mike:Yes,they were angry because they missed work and I missed school on Monday.
麦克：是啊，他们很生气。因为周一他们不能工作了，我也不能上学了。

boat on the lake.
