About 80 years ago, the Communist Party of China had its first historic governing practice in the south of Jiangxi and west of Fujian. Back then, Fujian was the heart of the revolutionary base areas.

Along with the development of China since 1949, Fujian has transformed from a poorly-developed "coastal defense frontline" to a fully-opened booming province.

Over the past 20 years, this largest global investment fair has welcomed more than 300,000 people from over 200 countries and regions, and witnessed the signing of over 30,000 investment agreements. 

福建是21世纪海上丝绸之路核心区。今天， 34条“丝路海运”航线，通达12个国家的中欧班列，在这里交汇。“一带一路”国际综合物流服务平台，让福建既是全世界的目的地，也是走向世界的中转站。

Fujian is the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. It now operates 34 shipping routes to countries and regions along the Maritime Silk Road as well as freight trains to 12 central European countries. The state-of-the-art logistics services have made Fujian an ideal business destination and a transshipment hub in the world.

福建已缔结了108个国际友城；还有连接五大洲主要城市和港口的73条空中航线、121条集装箱外贸航线——它们是开放的福建，迎接世界的通道。

Fujian has established 108 pairs of sister relationships worldwide. It has opened 73 flight routes and 121 container shipping routes to major cities and ports across the world. All these have connected an open Fujian with the rest of the world.

我是南安！

南安市位于福建省东南沿海，与台湾岛隔海相望，是举世闻名的“海上丝绸之路”的起点和民族英雄郑成功的故乡。三国东吴置县，距今已有一千七百多年的历史。1993年经国务院批准，撤县设市。全市土地面积 2036平方公里，辖区内共有21个镇、2个乡、3个街道、2个经济开发区。全市设45个社区居委会、379个村委会。。

南安历史悠久，人杰地灵。置县于三国东吴永安三年(公元260年)，名“东安县”。之后朝代更迭，曾改用晋安、梁安等，隋开皇九年(公元589年)始称南安县，唐嗣圣初（684）置武荣州，故南安又别称武荣。南安历史上曾一度是闽南的政治、经济和文化中心，素有“海滨邹鲁”之称，境内丰州金鸡古港曾是古代“海上丝绸之路”的起点。唐代开八闽文化之先声的欧阳詹，明代杰出的思想家李贽，民族英雄郑成功，一代名将叶飞，知名爱国华侨李光前、黄仲咸，祖籍地都在南安。

南安市位于福建省东南沿海闽南“金三角”中部区域，地处晋江中游，北纬24°34′30〞～25°19′25〞，东经118°08′30〞～118°36′20〞。东接鲤城区、丰泽区、洛江区，东南与晋江市毗邻，南部与厦门翔安区的大、小嶝岛及金门县隔海相望，西南与同安区交界，西通安溪县，北连永春县，东北与仙游县接壤。南安市陆域周长389千米，东西宽45千米，南北长82千米，成北宽南窄的楔形。陆地面积2036平方千米，海域面积61.6平方千米，海岸线长32.8千米。

截至2018年9月30日，南安市总人口1710903人，其中男性890019人，女性820884人；出生24113人、死亡8645人，自然增长15468人, 自然增长率9.10‰。

南安名胜众多，拥有一批知名的历史文物和名胜古迹，现有国家级重点文物保护单位8处、省级重点文物保护单位19处、市级重点文物保护单位58处。郑成功陵墓、九日山摩崖石刻、“天下无桥长此桥”的安平桥、蔡氏古民居建筑群闻名遐迩；雪峰寺、凤山寺、灵应寺、五塔岩、天心洞等众多座寺观名胜，构成一道神奇的宗教文化风景线；天柱山、黄巢山、大佰岛等，是生态旅游观光胜地。

2018年，南安市生产总值 1067.82 亿元，比上年增长8.4%。其中：第一产业增加值27.49亿元，增长2.4%；第二产业增加值612.81亿元，增长9.2%；第三产业增加值427.52亿元，增长7.3%；工业增加值560.30亿元，增长9.5%。规模以上工业总产值2407.51亿元，增长13.5%。农业总产值48.60亿元，增长2.3%。社会消费品零售总额514.21亿元，增长12.4%。外贸出口额157175万美元，增长23%；实际利用外资5072万美元。一般公共预算总收入79.96亿元，增长11.4%；其中地方一般公共预算收入45.99亿元，增长11.9%。城镇居民人均可支配收入46048元，增长8.2%；农村居民人均可支配收入21631元，增长8.9%。南安市综合实力位居全国中小城市综合实力百强第29位、最具投资潜力百强第11位、新型城镇化质量百强第31位、科技创新百强第31位和工业百强第23位，并居全面小康指数百强第73位、福布斯中国大陆最佳县级城市30强第4位。
