Direct-to-Consumer (omni-channel)
Integrated: The current retail DCs are used for direct-to-consumer as well.
Dedicated: Specialized direct-to-consumer DCs are developed, essentially a new supply chain.
Outsourced: using 3PLs.
Drop-shipped: Suppliers or manufacturers directly ship to customers, avoiding other echelon costs.
Store: Retail stores can ship products that are in stock or pull them for customer pickup.
Flow-through: Flow through ships to retailers but some orders are designated to be forwarded on once they are nearer to the customer.
