Armed Forces ready to reinforce security
Soyo - The Angola Armed Forces (FAA) areready to enhance security during the general election of 23 August this year.
This was said Saturday in Soyo, northernZaire province, by the deputy chief of FAA for Patriotic Education, gen. Egídiode Sousa Santos.
Speaking to the press after a meeting withFAA and National Police staff based in Soyo, the general reiterated the continuedreadiness of the Armed Forces to defend the country’s sovereignty.
The high-ranking officer underlined thatthe staff’s civic and moral education is safeguarded for their massive andorganised participation in the election.
According to the general, awareness andpatriotic education campaigns have been carried out for the accomplishment ofthis civic and citizenship duty.
