中成智谷在此恭喜无间设计创始人吴滨(第24届Andrew Martin国际室内设计大奖全球年度大奖获得者)、GID格瑞国际设计创始人曾建龙两位设计师再次入选Andrew Martin 国际室内设计大奖!
英国Andrew Martin国际室内设计大奖于1996年创办于英国伦敦,作为全球最具客观性、公平性以及社会代表性的室内设计奖项至今已经成功举办了26届。多年来,大奖邀请欧美社会各界的杰出代表组成精英级评审团,每年年初从全世界参加赛事的上万份作品中严格评选,近200位入选设计师从此脱颖而出,他们作为当年度国际设计行业的杰出代表,得到广泛认可,作品收录于《Andrew Martin国际室内设计大奖年鉴》。在入选的设计师中,评审团经过更加严苛的论辩,最终评选出一位Andrew Martin国际室内设计大奖全球年度大奖设计师,赢得全球瞩目的至高荣誉。
奖项曾被英国《星期日泰晤士报》、BBC 、美国《时代》等媒体赞誉为国际室内设计界的“奥斯卡”。每年出版的《Andrew Martin 国际室内设计年鉴》也被誉为“室内设计界的圣经”。

2022年底,由吴滨创立的设计家具品牌未墨,在中成智谷打造了旧仓库中的光影剧场——未墨线下艺术展厅。园区空间内部戏剧性的场所启发了品牌的空间设计,“剧场”的概念由此而来。层叠堆砌的体块关系与复杂变幻的光影搭建了剧场中的舞台,新旧建筑融合创造出新的空间形态。未墨展厅以极简的几何体系构建了一个去除了冗余的、半抽象的空间,期待与访客共同想象未来的人居形态,探索居住、人与自然之间的关系。

The greatest spaces in the world provoke profound and lasting impressions. In Hagia Sophia, it’s a sense of wonder, in The Palace of Versailles, it’s a sense of awe, in an ancient church in the English countryside it’s a sense of consolation.
American architect Louis Sullivan (once Frank Lloyd Wright’s boss) coined the phrase “form follows function”, which has been a pre-eminent theme in design schools for over a hundred years.
But time has illuminated the limitations of modernism. The search for a universal aesthetic meant a disregard for history and cultural context. The stark coldness disguised as a call for progress was a recipe for human alienation.
The dialogue between history and the future is particularly evident in the preservation of cultural heritage. Historic buildings and antique artifacts are not relics of the past, but testaments to the creativity and values of our forebears. They provide us with a deeper understanding of our roots and the context in which we live as the future beckons us to push boundaries and embrace technological advance.
Today, Théophile Gautier’s (born in 1811) “art for art’s sake” is revived and has reasserted the role of decoration and ornament in defiance of modernism’s puritan agenda.
The magic ingredient of great design is the joy and celebration of life. Volume 27 of the Andrew Martin Review once again demonstrates how the exuberance, ebullience and imagination of today’s designers has triumphed over the tyranny of modernism and its 20th century bedfellow of authoritarian totalitarianism and how they seek to balance the achievements of the past and the possibilities of the future.
