“Only Time”为爱尔兰音乐家恩雅（Enya）所作。此曲背后有着感人肺腑的故事。1999年恩雅惨遭车祸，住院昏迷三天三夜。其姐姐Moya自小因音乐理念与恩雅不一，常与妹妹争吵，到最后两人决裂，多年不相往来。然而，得知妹妹受重伤之后，深知血浓于水，她放下此前恩恩怨怨，谱写了新曲为妹祈福。恩雅醒后，庆幸逃过劫难，并得知姐姐的心意，悔当初之幼稚，念亲情和恩情，故谱写下此首 "OnlyTime"的旋律。该词曲旋律优美、深邃，寓意深刻，神秘圣洁，超凡脱俗，给人以无限的遐想，并有洗涤尘世浮躁，触及心灵之功效，因此被美国人列为哀悼911罹难者抚慰心灵前十歌曲之一。在后来的一次采访中，恩雅也承认时间具有治愈一切创伤之功效："'Only Time' talks about the fact that time will heal.
