谈到施瓦辛格，相信全球只要看过他演的“终结者”正义刚直的银幕形象一定印象深刻。对于已经70高龄的铁汉阿诺来讲，从国际健美先生到享誉国际的好莱坞巨星，再转战到政界做加州州长，最后再投身国际环保等社会公益事业。他一路走来，每一步都踏得精彩。很多与他年龄相仿的老人，多数都已经享受休闲的退休生活，而施瓦辛格却说：“他一辈子都不会退休”。
就像他在电影里说的那句最经典的台词：“I will be back”那样，硬汉阿诺又何曾离开呢？这不，因全球疫情影响，全美今年的毕业生们都不能参加期待已久，人生最为重要的毕业典礼。而为了鼓舞在疫情中居家隔离的毕业生们，Snapchat邀请施瓦辛格在毕业周Dear Class为孩子们做一次毕业致辞。
阿诺欣然接受了邀请，并风趣的表示：“我不会胡说八道，这是一个绝佳的毕业时间，但我要告诉你，我生命中面临的最大障碍之一，因为冠状病毒所制造的障碍不会是你最后面对的障碍，但它们可以让你为下一个障碍做好准备。我要感谢Snapchat邀请我启动他们2020年毕业周‘亲爱的课程’，我要感谢ATTN视频与我合作，以确保每个人都能看到这个它”。下面，就让我们仔细聆听“硬汉”阿诺给毕业生们的精彩致辞吧。
Actor and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger attacked President Donald Trump during a commencement speech on Sunday, mocking Trump’s real estate training program known as “Trump University.”
“You are celebrating that journey today, not just a piece of paper that you hang on the wall,” Schwarzenegger said in the speech posted on Instagram, holding up a mock Trump University degree. “This is nothing.”
Trump University was founded by Donald Trump in 2005. It offered courses in real estate, asset management, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation. It was never an accredited university or college, and after several lawsuits shuttered in 2010. All the cases have since been settled.
Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger went on to urge students of all classes of 2020 to quickly decide what they want to be in life given the challenges they currently face.
“Ask yourself, who do you want to be? Not what but who,” he said. “You see, a disaster can change what you are. It can steal jobs and force you inside. But it is who you are that rises in the face of adversity.”
The 72-year-old Terminator star also reflected on the Chinese coronavirus pandemic and his own challenge of facing open heart surgery, warning that it is obviously not a “fantastic time to graduate” but that such obstacles are part of life.
“The reason why I’m telling you all this is because no matter how successful you are, life will throw obstacles in your path, like it was with my heart surgery or like with your graduation now,” he said. “But if you have a very clear vision like I talked about earlier of exactly what you want to do and who you want to be, you can go and find a way around all of these obstacles.”

2020届学生 祝贺你们毕业。
I'm not going to stand here and bullshit you about this being a fantastic time to graduate.
今天我不会站在这里骗你们说现在是毕业的绝好时刻。
I know virtual graduations aren't the celebration that you envisioned. But the world is in a crisis. This coronavirus is unbelievable. But no matter how much damage this corongvirus does around the globe, let me be clear-the coronavirus can't erase your success. No way.
我知道虚拟毕业不是你们期望的庆祝方式，但是世界正处在危机中。这个新冠病毒让人无语，但不管瘟疫在世界上造成多大破坏，让我申明一点——新冠病毒不能抹去你们的成功。没门。
I can promise that this virus won't be the last obstacle that you face. But it can help you prepare for the next one. That's what life is all about-overcoming obstacles. Throughout your whole life, you'll see obstacles being thrown in front of you like that.
我向你们保证这个病毒不会是你们面对的最后障碍，但它能让你更好的迎接下一个障碍。这就是生活的意义——克服障碍。在你的一生中你们会遇到无数像那样的障碍。
Let me tell you a brief story about the biggest obstacle that I faced, just two years ago, I woke up 16 hours later instead of four hours （Later）. And there was a tube sticking out of my mouth. And then the doctor moved forward and he took the tube and ripped it out of my throat. And I was coughing violently and he says,"Just keep coughing." "And then let us tell you what happened." So then he told me they had to do an emergency surgery, that something went wrong during this kind of non-invasive procedure. And then it became very invasive. They said they broke through the heart wall and there was internal bleeding and I could have died.
让我告诉你们两年前我面对的最大一个障碍，我在做完心脏手术后16个小时才苏醒而不是4小时，我的嘴里插着一根管子，后来医生才把这根管子从我的喉咙里拿掉，我当时剧烈的咳嗽，医生却说“继续咳，咳完了我再告诉你怎么回事” 接着医生又告诉我他们必须要做一个紧急手术，因为在进行非侵入式操作时出了差错，接下来真成了侵入式了。他们说他们捅破了心脏壁，出现了内出血，我可能会死掉。
Now all of a sudden I had to go and make myself get out of the bed and start walking with the walker. I did the first 10 steps like an old man. But I'll tell you one thing. My usual principles worked. Because I was visualizing right away that I'm going to be on the date, August 1st, I wll be on the set and I wll be shooting Terminator.
突然他们又叫我从病床上爬起来，借助拐杖开始步行。我像一个老头那样迈出开始的10步，很不可思议但是我要告诉你们一点，我一贯的原则起作用了。因为我马上憧憬着我将于8月1号回到片场拍摄终结者6.
The reason why I'm telling you all this is because no matter how successful you are, life will throw obstacles in your path like it was with my heart surgery or like with your graduation now. But if you have a very clear vision like I talked about earlier, of exactly what you want to do, and who you want to be, you can go and find a way around all of those obstacles.
我之所以告诉你们这些是因为不论你多么成功，生活总会在你的道路上布下障碍。就好像我的心脏手术或者你们现在的毕业，但是如果你们有着清晰的憧憬，正如我前面谈到的到底想做什么，到底想成为什么样的人。你就能找到方法绕过这些阻碍。
Ask yourself, who do you want to be? Not "want." But "who?" You see, a disaster can change what you are. It can steal your job and force you inside. But it is who you are that rises in the face of adversity.
问问自己“到底想成为什么样的人”不是“什么”而是“什么人” 你们要明白一个灾难能改变一个人，它能偷走你的工作迫使你待在家里，但是面对逆境让你站起来的使你的内在品质。

You are celebrating that journey today. Not just a piece of paper that you hang on the wall. This is nothing. We all have these pieces of papers, but let's be honest. This celebration. by the way, is not the end. Yes, it is the end of this particular chapter, but it is the beginning of your next climb. It's time to celebrate now. Be in the moment, enjoy, go all out. Yes, of course. But tomorrow, when this is all over, it is time to start developing your vision, and it's time to start climbing towards that vision.
你们今日庆祝的是一段旅程，而不是一张用于挂在墙上的纸。他什么都不是，我们都有好几张这种纸。但坦白说这个庆祝会不是结束，是的，它是你们当下篇章的结束，但它又是你下一个攀登的开始。现在开始庆祝吧，享受此刻 尽情享受，是的，当然要尽情。但是明天当一切都结束后那就要开始规划你的愿景，并向那个愿景攀登。
