本项⽬缘起于针对眼下公共话语场域的收缩。近年来,我们的时代就进⼊到了⼀种“例外状态”,并且是这⼀状态的永恒化。情况愈演愈烈。于是本项目思考如何在这种“例外状态”下,⽤艺术的⾏动作为媒介、⽤影像记录的图像作为艺术话语⽣产的传播⽅式,重新拓展公共话语空间。社会空间中话语关系的改变,本身就是美学。

This project was born out of the contraction of the current field of public discourse. In recent years, our time has entered a "state of exception" and a perpetuation of that state. The situation is getting worse and worse. Therefore, this project considers how to use art as a medium and images as a means of communication for the creation of art discourse under this "state of exception", and how to re-expand the space of public discourse. The change of discourse relations in social space is itself aesthetic.

Project Negotiation: A Discussion on "Post-Art"Simulacra Space, Beijing, 2022


邀请4位参与者。参与者将邀请⼀位⾃⼰的朋友组队(两⼈为⼀组)。携带蓝⽛⾳箱,在公共场合下使⽤Zoom App进⾏连线,进行公共性的话题的讨论,并将彼此之间的对话通过蓝⽛⾳箱(将⾳箱挂在身上、并将⾳量调⾄最⼤),最⼤程度地在公共空间情境中进⾏“播撒”(双⽅的谈话当即就会在⾏为发⽣现场被公开)。

Four participants are invited. Participants will invite a friend of their own to form a team (two people in a group). Participants will bring a Bluetooth box and use the Zoom app to connect in a public place, discuss public topics, and talk to each other through the Bluetooth box, hanging it on their bodies and turning up the volume to the maximum. To the greatest extent possible, the conversation is "broadcast" in a public space context: the conversation between the two parties is immediately made public at the scene of the action.


从2019年以来,我个人的社会互动项目的参与者都是自己生活中遇到的朋友。“邀请生活中的朋友参与艺术项目”这个想法,源自于对本土传统社会关系的理解,并且希望通过这种方式实现一种自我组织形式。在我看来,艺术不能抛弃真实的生活实践,更不应该是对参与者的一次性消费。所以我挺喜欢和身边非艺术领域的朋友畅谈艺术,很多时候项目就是这样促成的,这也让我们彼此更加熟络、加深对彼此的了解。艺术让我们走得更近了。

Since 2019, the participants of my personal social interaction projects have been friends I have met in my own life. The idea of "inviting friends in my life to participate in art projects" comes from an understanding of traditional local social relationships and a desire to realize a form of self-organization in this way. In my opinion, art should not abandon the real life practice, and it should not be a one-time consumption for the participants. That's why I like to talk about art with my non-art friends around me, and many projects are facilitated in this way, which allows us to get to know each other better and deepen our understanding of each other. Art brings us closer together.

哈哩是我女朋友的前同事,也是我们共同的朋友。哈哩邀请了一位他的朋友Y.Z.,项目是在北京奥体公园进行。Y.Z.是这两年从欧洲回来的留学生,他对欧洲与国内之间关于环保意识的差异比较有感触,所以两个人的对话集中在环保话题上。

Harry is my girlfriend's former colleague and our mutual friend. Harry invited a friend of his, Y.Z., to the project, which was held at the Beijing Olympic Park. Y.Z. is an international student who came back from Europe in the past two years, and he is more sensitive to the differences between Europe and China regarding environmental awareness, so the conversation between the two focused on the topic of environmental protection.

刘行表是一位网络认识的碟友,我们都喜欢收藏摇滚乐CD。我们线下没有见过面,他在深圳应该挺忙的。有时我们会聊一些摇滚乐以外的话题,比如五月风暴和情境主义。刘行表邀请了一位他的朋友陈水鞭。陈水鞭在项目实施的时候,刚刚搬到克拉玛依,那边的一切都让他感到好奇和感慨。因为克拉玛依12月的天气关系,项目中陈水鞭是在室内实施的。

Liu is a music fan we met online, we both like to collect rock CDs, we haven't met offline, he's probably busy in Shenzhen. Liu invited a friend of his, Chen, who had just moved to Karamay at the time of the project and was intrigued and impressed by everything there. Because of the weather in December in Karamay, the project was conducted indoors.

猪宝爸爸是我一位高中校友的老公。说起来有点伤感,我们是在高中班主任的葬礼上认识的。猪宝爸爸生活在上海,是位对艺术有着浓厚兴趣的程序员。从他和Frank的谈话中,能从一个侧面感到今天的互联网资本主义对劳动力的态度。本着程序员的严谨,猪宝爸爸还专门为了项目买了两个蓝牙音箱。

Pumpkin’s dad is the husband of one of my high school alumni. It's sad to say that we met at the funeral of our high school homeroom teacher. Pumpkin's dad lives in Shanghai and is a programmer with a keen interest in art. From his conversation with Frank, one can get a sense of the attitude of today's Internet capitalism towards labor. In the spirit of programmer's rigor, Pumpkin’s dad also bought two Bluetooth speakers specifically for the project.

"The internet squeezes people's right to speak in private": Chat log with L.X.Q

L.X.Q是之前沈阳举办的一个展览的对接人,他现在鲁美人文学院读硕士,也是一位年轻的策展人,我们经常一起讨论艺术。他邀请了Haixt一起实施项目,讨论的话题是NFT艺术品。希望有机会能与L.X.Q 线下见面。

L.X.Q is the counterpart of a previous exhibition held in Shenyang, he is now a master in Art History at LAFA and a young curator, and we often discuss art together. He invited Haixt to implement the project together, and the topic of discussion was NFT artworks. I hope to meet with L.X.Q offline sometime.

在展示方面,我希望既能给整个项目一个整体的视觉印象,同时还能激发观者的身体感觉。最终选择了视错觉图像作为背景。这也是对话语场域的图像化譬喻。

For the display, I wanted to give an overall visual impression of the entire project while also stimulating the viewer's physical senses. In the end, I chose optical illusion images as the background. This is also a pictorial metaphor for the field of discourse.


“公共话题”与“公共空间”这两个词对一部分朋友来说,是带有敏感性的。我的一位朋友“老Z”,在我邀请他参与项目时,真诚的劝我不要做这个项目。老Z是善意的,另一方面,他的感受也很能说明我们目前面对的是怎样的一个“公共空间”。于是在征得他同意后,我把我们的通话进行了录音,在此分享给大家。

The words "public talk" and "public space" are sensitive to some of my friends. One of my friends, "Old Z", sincerely advised me not to do this project when I invited him to participate in it. Old Z was well-meaning, and on the other hand, his feelings were very indicative of the kind of "public space" we are currently dealing with. So with his permission, I recorded our conversation and share it here.

刘冠南


刘冠南2014年硕士毕业于中央美术美院雕塑系,现于中央美术学院博士生在读。他的工作形态主要包括社会参与项目、装置和绘画。

刘冠南感兴趣于历史性的图像叙事生产,及其与身体的作用关系。他的工作起始于对广泛传播的叙事类知识的考察,并在考察中发现了图像叙事是如何介入社会规训活动,最终作用于我们的身体。近年来,他的工作聚焦于日常中社会关系的重新发现。

Liu Guannan graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2014 with a master's degree and is currently a doctoral candidate at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His work forms mainly include socially engaged projects, installations and paintings.

Liu Guannan is interested in the historical production of pictorial narratives and their relation to the role of the body. His work began with an examination of widely disseminated narrative-like knowledge, in which he discovered how pictorial narratives intervene in socially regulated activities and ultimately act on our bodies. In recent years, his work has focused on the rediscovery of social relations in the everyday.
