拟像空间将于2022年3月5日至2022年4月11日呈现王智一的个展：“心智”，将集中展出艺术家的系列混合媒材新作，影像以及场域特定的情境互动作品。
艺术家视展览为数幕“游戏”，展出的诸件场域特定作品将从游戏的系统架构作为主要线索进行延展。其中的成瘾机制会涉及关于游戏规则与参与受众之间的博弈与控制，虚构与现实两者的读取异同，以及探看游戏工业中对于光影另构的心智全景。
展览中作品的灵感来源既有日常生活中摊贩谋寻生计的小把戏，又包含现实语境之下的大实话。其中，艺术家藉由投射马赛尔·杜尚（Marcel Duchamp）遗作《既定：瀑布第一，明气第二》（Étant donnés: 1°la chute d'eau 2° le gaz d'éclairage）中关于阴影的遮蔽性，假定了一种在游戏中所合理存在的窥探，并将这种类比后台攻略的速通行为与基于数码科技中声音与颜色的视觉虚构进行了真实的光谱编排。
在现场，通过艺术家对于各种游戏与指令之间的“读取”与“复现”，我们会逐渐意识到虚拟与现实的边际区别，并感受到在这场关于系统的游戏中：只要跻身加入，参与者的心智便会逐渐被诸多概率与数据所钳制的事实。
From March 5 to April 11, 2022, Simulacra Space will present Wang Zhiyi's solo exhibition "The Mind," featuring a series of new mixed-media works, video, and site-specific interactive works by the artist.
The artist sees the exhibition as a multi-act "game," and the site-specific works on display will be extended from the systemic structure of the game as the main thread. The addiction mechanism will involve the contest and control between the game's rules and the participating audience, the similarities and differences between the reading of fiction and reality, and a look at the mental panorama of the game industry's alternative constructions of light and shadow.
The works are inspired by the tricks of everyday vendors who seek to make a living and the significant facts in the real-world context. In particular, the artist assumes a peek into the plausible existence of games by projecting the shadowy obscurity of Marcel Duchamp's last work, Étant donnés: 1° la chute d'eau 2° le gaz d'éclairage, and makes a realistic spectrum choreography on the quick-pass behavior of backstage guide and visual fictions based on sound and color in digital technology.
On-site, through the artist's "reading" and "reproduction" of various games and instructions, we would gradually realize the marginal difference between the virtual and the real, and sense the fact of this game of systems: once joining in, the participant's mind would progressively become more and more coaxed by numerous probabilities and data.

王智一（b.1991）是一名游牧性质的复合型艺术工作者。他曾就读于湖北美术学院设计系和壁画与综合材料绘画系，并同时兼顾研究艺术理论及展览实践。现阶段，他关注色彩与图形在感知层面的象征与暗示，并藉此梳理人的心理与寓体及寓意之间的联觉关系；另一方面，他关注的策划内容是艺术个体的真实际遇以及其创造力发生的根本动机。
王智一的主要个展包括：“一以贯之”（金桥碧云美术馆，中国上海，2021），“色气”（Harmony Art Gallery，中国上海，2021），“霓虹甜心”（BANANA ART SPACE，中国南京，2021），“必经之路”（寄存处，中国上海，2020），“意义”（胶囊上海，中国上海，2018），“兴绘”（西五艺术中心，中国北京，2016），“完形”（湖北美术学院，中国武汉，2014）等。
他曾参与的部分群展包括：“我认出了世界——生于八、九十年代”（银川当代美术馆，中国银川，2021），“绘画与存在”（当代唐人艺术中心，中国北京，2020），“墙势力IV”（时代美术馆，中国北京，2019），“界面效应”（今日美术馆，中国北京，2018），“再聚焦”（美术文献艺术中心，中国武汉，2017），“抽象Q&A”（星空间，中国北京，2016），“秩序的边界”（蜂巢当代艺术中心，中国北京，2015），“轻抽象的星丛”（UCCA当代艺术中心，中国北京，2014）等。
王智一曾取得院级优秀毕业作品及省级优秀学位论文最高嘉奖（2014），参与K11驻留项目（2016-2018），入围上海当代艺术博物馆“青策计划”（2017-2018），并荣获第四届墙报艺术家一等奖（2019），入围K11新锐艺术创作奖（2021）。此外，他的艺术评论被发表散见于诸多媒体，其作品被路易·威登艺术基金会、摩根大通集团、K11艺术基金会、罗浮紫艺术、巽美术馆等机构及私人藏家慧藏。
Wang Zhiyi (b.1991) is a nomadic and integrated art worker. He studied at the Department of Design and the Department of Mural and Mixed Media Painting at the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, where he also studied art theory and exhibition practice. At present, he focuses on the symbolic and implication of color and graphics at the level of perception, and thus sorts out the association between the human psyche and allegorical bodies and connotations; on the other hand, he is interested in curating the actual encounters of artistic individuals and the underlying motives of their creativity.
Wang Zhiyi's major solo exhibitions include: "Consistence" (Being Art Museum, Shanghai, China, 2021), "Color gas" (Harmony Art Gallery, Shanghai, China, 2021), "Put You In My Suitcase" (BANANA, Nanjing, China, 2021), "Predestinate"(De Pot, Shanghai, China, 2020), "Meaning " (CAPSULE, Shanghai, China, 2018), "Painting is Pleasure" (C5 Art Center, Beijing, China 2016), and "The Gestalt" (Hubei Institute of Fine Arts(HIFA), Wuhan, China, 2014), etc.
Some of the group exhibitions he has participated in include: "I Recognized the World: Born in the 80s and 90s" (MOCA Yinchuan, China, 2021), "Painting and Existence" (Tang Contemporary Art, Beijing, China, 2020), "Wall Power IV" (Times Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2019), "Becoming" (Today Art Museum, Beijing, China, 2018), " Refocusing" (Fine Arts Literature Art Center, Wuhan, China, 2017), "Abstract Q & A" (Star Gallery, Beijing, China, 2016), "The Boundaries of Order" (Hive Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, China 2015), "Soft Abstraction as Constellation" (UCCA, Beijing, China, 2014), etc.
Wang Zhiyi has received the highest award for outstanding graduation works and dissertations of the Hubei Province (2014). He participated in the K11 residency program (2016-2018), was shortlisted for the Power Station of Art Shanghai's "Emerging Curators Project" (2017-2018), won the first prize of Wall Power Artist (2019), and was shortlisted for the K11 Emerging Art Creation Award (2021). In addition, his art critiques have been published in various media, and his works have been collected by Louis Vuitton Art Foundation, JP Morgan Chase Group, K11 Art Foundation, Purple Roof Public Art, Duende Art Museum, and other institutions as well as private collectors.
