A China-Europe freight train departed from Jinan for Hungary on April 26, with 10.5 million pairs of gloves on board to help fight COVID-19.
4月26日，载有2100万只防护手套的中欧班列从济南发往匈牙利，援助全球防疫。

A livestream to promote Pingyin rose flower cakes, a local specialty, was broadcast in Jinan on April 27, with Sun Licheng, Party secretary of Jinan, taking part.
4月27日，济南市委书记孙立成走进直播间，现场为平阴玫瑰鲜花饼代言。
"The cakes are delicious, I can highly recommend them," said Sun, during the broadcast.
他在直播时说：“玫瑰鲜花饼勾起了我的食欲，我可以负责任地向大家推荐平阴玫瑰鲜花饼！”

Shandong Export Commodities Online Exhibition opens in Jinan
The 2020 Shandong Export Commodities Online Exhibition took place in Jinan on April 28. The two-day event was held in two sessions, featuring electromechanical equipment, hardware, building materials and medical supplies.
4月28日，山东出口商品（巴基斯坦）云展会在济南正式开幕。本次云展会为期两天，涉及机电、五金、建材、防疫物资等产品，共分两场举办。
In the first session, a total of 84 companies from across the province participated in the event, with 28 Pakistani buyers also attending. Over 100 one-to-one business discussions were arranged through precise matching.
第一场全省共84家企业参展，邀请了28家巴基斯坦采购商，通过精准配对，安排“一对一”洽谈100余场。
巨型书架阶梯式阅览区，实体书店再次进驻泉城路
New bookstore opens to the public
A new bookstore at Jinan's international fashion and creative center welcomed its first group of customers on May 1. The store is equipped with a reading area, and shelves towering as high as 5 meters! The store boasts a huge selection, with something to satisfy every reader.
5月1日，在济南的国际时尚创意中心，一家新书店迎来首批读者。书店内搭建了阶梯式的图书阅览区，书架高度全部5米以上！巨型开放式书架上摆放了大量图书供读者购买和借阅。
“玫”好生活 平阴玫瑰文化节启动
Pingyin rose cultural festival kicks off
Pingyin county in Jinan, one of the world's top rose production areas, is now hosting a rose cultural festival, with activities going on both online and offline. During the event, the county's dealers of renowned rose production companies promote and sell their rose-related products through live broadcasts on the Taobao platform.
济南平阴县是世界上最大的玫瑰产地之一，近日一届 “线上+线下” 融合的平阴玫瑰文化节开幕了。全县的各大知名玫瑰企业通过淘宝直播推广销售他们的产品。
In addition, people who are keen to appreciate the beautiful flowers can not only see them at the event's main venue – Yellow River Rose Lake National Wetland Park, but also on the city's online platform.
游客们不仅可以到此次玫瑰文化节的主会场——黄河玫瑰湖国家湿地公园，也可以通过网上平台欣赏娇艳欲滴的玫瑰。
