【二十大代表风采】三涧溪村党委书记高淑贞：让乡亲过上好日子
With neat rows of apartments, and clean, wide roads, Sanjianxi village in the Zhangqiu district of Jinan, Shandong province, has no reminders that the village was once a mess, a place where residents lived in poverty.
位于山东省济南市章丘区的三涧溪村，一排排整齐的公寓，干净宽阔的道路，没有人会想到这个村庄曾经是远近闻名的“落后村”。
当时，村里困难户多达121户，如何帮助困难户脱贫解困，尽快走上发家致富之路，成为该村两委班子亟需解决的难题。
Sanjianxi had long been hampered by poor soil quality. Through the cultivation of corn and wheat, each household made no more than 2,000 yuan ($278) per year.
由于土质差，村民们只能种植玉米和小麦，每户每年的收入不超过2000元。
But a transformation began when Gao Shuzhen was elected as Party chief of the village in 2004. Over the past 18 years, she has been working to build an efficient branch of the Communist Party of China to help residents make better use of their land. Currently, the collective assets of the village have surpassed 273 million yuan, and its collective income has reached 8.29 million yuan.
然而，在18年后的今天，这个曾被戏称为“神仙治不了的三涧溪”，变为村集体总资产超过2.73亿元，集体经济收入达829万元的富裕村。这一切的改变，源于2004年一位女“村官”的到来，她就是党的二十大代表、三涧溪村党委书记——高淑贞。
So far, an agricultural project, ecological livestock-breeding areas, tourism projects and an industrial park have been developed, providing jobs for more than 80 percent of the local workforce.
在高淑贞的带领下，三涧溪村通过招商引资、腾笼换业，建设现代农业基地和集约型工业园区，全村超过80%青壮年劳动力实现了就近就业。
Now all households in the village have risen out of poverty.
如今的三涧溪村摘下了“贫困帽”，特色产业经济快速发展，群众生活蒸蒸日上。
"Great changes have taken place in China's rural areas, and we are no longer poor," Gao said, adding that the Party branch of the village played an important role in the development.
“我国乡村发生了天翻地覆的变化，我们村也不再是贫困村了。”高淑贞说。
"The Party branches at the village level have the ability to create platforms from which residents can earn a better life and ensure they have faith and belief in their future," she said.
“村党支部有能力为村民创造美好生活，有能力让村民对未来发展充满信心。”
