Harrow School London was founded in 1572 as a consequence of the selfless charity of a man named John Lyon. A wealthy man, John Lyon had a vision and mission to create a high-performing school which would allow boys in the local area who could not otherwise afford an education to attend daily school to improve themselves and their life opportunities. As the School developed, boys from families who could afford to pay fees joined; however, Scholars – those who could not afford all, or perhaps any of the fees – continued to be educated, as they still do today.

Application and Assessment Process
申请与审核流程
1. The scholarship application process is open to students for entry to Harrow School Shanghai into the Lower Sixth year group (Year 12).
奖学金申请面向所有申请入读哈罗上海12年级的学生。
2. Applicants will undergo formal academic assessments, an online cognitive abilities test and interviews with key senior staff, including the Head Master.
申请人需经过正式的学术测评、线上认知能力测试并与学校资深老师及校长面谈。
3. Applicants are not required to have studied within a British curriculum school. Those who have will be expected to have gained a minimum (I)GCSE grade profile.
申请人无需学过英国学校课程；若学过，申请人需提供(I)GCSE成绩报告。
4. Applicants must fulfill the usual requirements of the Shanghai Education Bureau for entry to an international school. To complete the scholarship application form simply scan the QR code:
