Objectives and Requi rements：
1. Language
Target：What time is it？ It‘s eleven o’clock.
Is it twelve o‘clock？ Yes， it is.
2. Vocabulary

3. Materials：
Picture cards 49-60， ball / s oft object， digital watch / clock， chalk / maker， paper cards， paper / plastic bag， dice， hole punch / scissors， paper
二、Procedure：
1. Conversation
1) Getting ready
A. (Hold a soft ball or soft object.) One！(Toss the ball to a student.)
B. Prompt the student to say Two. And toss the ball to the next student who says Three. Model if necessary.
C. Continue up to twelve.
D. Write the word o’clock on the board and have Ss repeat.
E. Now add o‘clock after the numbers， e.g. one o’clock， two o‘clock. Point to the numbers around a clock.
F. Using the soft ball or object， toss it around as you and the Ss say the hours of the day.
G. T：(Pointing to the 1 on a clock.) What time is it？
Ss：It’s one o‘clock.
Model if necessary.
2) Using the book
A. T：(Point a watch or a clock.) What’s this？ Ss：It‘s a watch / clock.
B. Listen to the tape and have Ss repeat after each sentence.
C. Play the tape again and have Ss follow along.
D. T：Get into groups of three. One plays Gogo， one plays Tony and one plays the shopkeeper.
Point out w ho the shopkeeper is in the picture.
E. Have Ss listen and speak their roles as the tape plays.2. Vocabulary
1) Getting ready
A. Hold up each Picture Card and say the time.
B. Listen and repeat the time.
C. Say each time again in random order.
2) Using the book
A. Listen to the tape and have Ss repeat each time phrase. Point to each picture as you say it.
B. T：(Point to the eleven o’clock picture.) What time is it？
Ss：It‘s eleven o’clock.
C. Hold the book up and point to other time pictures and have Ss answer.
3. Practice 1
1) Getting ready
A. T：(Point to Picture A.) What time is it？
B. Generate responses and do the same for the other three pictures.
2) Using the book
C. Play the tape for num ber 1， and then pause. T：Which picture is it？
D. While Ss are responding， gradually move your hand to Picture B. B is No.1.
E. Continue with the other three， pausing after each one.4. Practice 2
1) Place Picture Cards around the room in various places.
2) Walk around the room posing Qs to Ss.
Move around the room quickly and pose Qs to keep Ss focused.
3) T：(Point to a Pictu re Card.)
What time is it？
Ss：It‘s …o’clock.
4) Model responses if necessary.
5) Invite a student to take your place.

1．教师准备：
(1)Le t‘s learn部分的教学卡片、磁带及录音机。
(2)卡通时钟。（时针分针可以用手控制）
(3)歌曲视频。

教学过程：
一、课程导入(Leading In)
1．课前问答
教师与学生做课前问候，进行日常的口语练习。教师的问题中可以涉及之前学过的几个单元的重点内容。可通过简短的会话，复习巩固前面学过的一些内容。具体问题参考如下：
（1）Hello， boys and girls. How are you？
（2）What’s for breakfast？
（3）Do you like eggs for breakfast？
（4）Do you like English？
2．新课导入
教师给学生播放歌曲视频：This is the way.让学生边看边唱，以此激起学生学习新 课的兴趣。由于这首歌是英文歌曲中的经典作品，如果不能播放视频，教师可以带着学生一起边做动作边唱歌。二、课程展示活动和过程
1．Let‘s learn
通过课本第26页Let’s learn部分的主图或课件展示进行词汇的新授。
因为本节课中所学 习的词汇都与学生的日常生活有关，所有教师可以直接通过演示让学生了解和掌握。
（1 ）T：Look at the clock. It‘s seven in the morning.
T：I want to get up. I get up at seven.
教师做起床的动作，让学生跟着一起做动作并重复单词get up.
T：I get up at six. Do you get up at six？
S1：Yes， I do./No， I don’t.
T：Do you get up at seven？
S1：Yes， I do./No， I don‘t.
（2）教师借助卡通时钟拨动时间，按照时间顺序来学习接下来的活动。教师可在展示时间的同时向学生展示活动照片或图片，让学生一边做动作一边说出相应的动词短语。
2．教师在四线三格中写出本节课的词汇，让学生随着教师的书写进行拼读，让学生 眼到、手到、口到、心到。之后，播放Let’s learn部分的录音，让学生模仿其语音语调跟读词汇，加强记忆。三、操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)
1．巩固活动
（1）教师可以让学生听口令做出反应，熟练后可组织学生两人一组进行操练，一人发口令一人做出相应的动作。
（2）play a guessing game
每个小组选出一名代表上台，要面向大家，不能看到教师手中的卡片。教师向全班学生展示卡片，下 面的学生看到后不许说话，只能做动作，让站在讲台上的同学猜，猜的最快最多的小组获胜。
2．Part C：Listen and choose
（1）教师引导学生先仔细观察每组图片。
（2）时间容许的话可对每幅图片或挑选几幅图片进行简单描述。
（3）听录音，完成选择。
（4）师生一起核对答案。
三、课后作业
表演课文，学 习提问时间和回答时间。

教学目标
1.能够听、说、认、读本课时的主要单词和词组music class， P.E.class， English class， breakfast， lunch， dinner。
2.能认读句型
What time is it？
并作出相应的回答：It ‘s……， It’s time for…..。
3.能听懂指示语，并按要求作出相应的动作，
如：Ti me for breakfast. Drink some milk。
教学重点
掌握有关日常活动的六个单词和词组。
教学难点
对新句型“What time is it？It‘s nine o’clock. It‘s time for…”的理解和运用。
教具准备
1.与教材内容相关的课件、图片等媒体素材。
2.录音机和录音带
3.教师准备一个教具钟。
4.教师准备六张单词卡。
导学过程
一．热身／复习（Warm-up/Revisio n）
1．教师播放第一单元Story time的录音或者请一组学生表演Story t ime中的故事。
2．教师在听录音或学生表演之后向学生提问：Where is Zoom？
学生回答：He is in the canteen.
教师又问：Why？
学生答：He is hungry.
教师再问：Why is he hungry？What time is it？
引导学生答出 ：It’s time for lunch.
接下来，教师可鼓励学生说出哪些东西可以告诉我们时间，如：the su n， the moon， the tree等等，学生如果不能用英文说，也可用中文说 二．呈现新课 （Presentation）
1．教师可制作本课时的挂图贴在黑板上说：Look！What‘s t his？It’s a clock. What time is it？（教师将钟拨到一点）It‘s one o’clock.
教师强调说one o‘clock，(然后再将钟拨到三点) It’s three o‘clo ck now.
2. 教师领读o’clock。
3.教学Let‘s learn
①教师指着12点说：
T：What time is it？
S：It’s 12 o‘clock.
T：Are you hungry？
Says.
T：I’m hungry too，
It‘s time for lunch.
②教师出示单词卡片，领读lunch.并教授
It’s time for… .
教师利用钟面上的小图继续教授时间的表达和其它几个单词、词组。4．通过教师领读和听音跟读，让学生掌握正确的读音，尤其要注意breakfast和o‘clock的发音。可采用小组模仿竞赛的形式，在学生当中展开互帮互学。
5.教学Let’s do
①教师发指令：It‘s …o’clock.学生将时针拨到正确的位置。
②教师发指令：It‘s time for… 学生根据实际情况将时针拨到合理的位置。
③通过图片。简笔画或做动作猜等方法教学其余句子。
④听录音，作TPR活动。
三．趣味操练 （Practice）
1．教师将教具钟上的时针拨到不同的时间，提 问学生：What time is it？鼓励同座的两名学生进行比赛看谁做出快速反应。
2．教师拿出生词图卡，出示图的 一小部分，让学生通过观察判断图上画的是什么，并说出相应的单词或词组。
四．扩展性活动（Add-activities）
1．做本单元A Let’s learn部分的活动手册配套练习。
2．和同桌一起玩“画画、写写”的 游戏。根据本人实际情况用钟的形式画出自己的活动时间，并和同桌一起进行问答练习。
3．试一试给同伴、朋友或家长发Let‘s do 中的指令请他们做动作。
