脑影像和 TMS 联合使用的方法具有诸多优势,如可探索大脑任意脑区、直接评估皮质兴奋性、探索 TMS 介导下的神经元调制的潜在机制等。TMS-EEG 的联合使用发现戒酒后 AUD 患者额叶皮层兴奋性减少,运动皮层兴奋性增加(Naim-Feil et al 2016),与 GABA 有关的 N45 振幅显著增加(Kaarre et al 2018)。TMS-fMRI 发现额极连续 θ 脉冲串刺激后可显著降低眶额区的活动,并间接降低了前扣带回、前脑岛等功能相关节点的活动(Hanlon et al 2017)。这类方法为研究大脑功能提供了超越每种方法单独使用时的见解,为彻底了解 AUD 的神经机制提供了希望。
