Pinecone Painting with Fall Scented Paint 彩色松果创造活动
Today I initially planned to have my daughter use pinecones dipped in paint to create art on paper. However, when I looked at her, I decided to just throw the pinecones into our big bin we use for all kinds of activities, give her some paints and brushes and just let he have a go. For the extra fall feeling, I added pumpkin pie spice to the paint!
She started painting them. Playing with the colours and exploring their textures and shapes through the process.
Pinecone painting is a simple idea, and the best is, it’s entirely child-led.
Kids are free to explore, experiment, play and create without it ever having to be anything.
The pressure is off!
They’re free to immerse themselves and enjoy the process.
My little one progressed from using a paintbrush to simply rolling the pinecones in the paint, which of course was great fun! After a while she decided she’s done painting the pinecones and started to proceed painting the inside of the box. I added some water for even more fun.
Our pinecone painting activity had turned into a great fun sensory play with fall scented paint and water.
今天我本来想要用涂上颜料的松果画一幅画，但是最后还是决定了更简单的方法。我把松果、颜料、毛笔直接扔大箱里（我们家有一个大箱子，经常做活动的时候用着），然后让宝宝自己发挥。为了有更好的秋天气氛，我给颜料加上秋天的香料（比如南瓜香料）。
我女儿直接开始给松果涂上颜色。探索颜色搭配、松果的质感和形状。
给松果涂上颜色真是一个非常简单的活动，也是完全孩子决定的过程。孩子们可以自由地探索、实验、玩和创造，不用担心作品的结果。
一点儿压力也没有。
孩子可以深入创造的过程。
我的女儿从用毛笔给松果涂上颜色，发展到把松果直接浸入颜料里。过了一会儿她就决定了松果画完了，可以开始给箱子涂上颜色。为了让她玩更开心，我最后还给箱子倒几杯水。
我们的创造松果美术活动 不知不觉变成了宝宝最爱玩的感知游戏。
MATERIALS NEEDED:
Pinecones
Paint (in fall colors)
Fall spices (eg. Pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, apple pie spice...)
Brushes
Big bin or covered table or floor
