菁英口语研习班首期课程圆满结束

2018年10月10日到11月 24日，经过历时一个多月的课程学习，菁英口语研习班第一期课程圆满落下帷幕。本期课程共计14次课，28课时，来自武汉高校的学生、律师及职场人士参与了本期课程学习。
课程邀请到来自英国、波兰、喀麦隆、巴基斯坦等不同国家和地区拥有丰富口语教学经验的老师担任外教。外教们拥有政治学、国际关系学、经济学、自动化等多学科的交叉背景，他们从不同的角度去引导学员进行分析思考，并鼓励大家积极表达，课堂氛围十分活跃。
本期课程内容范围涵盖广泛，从人工智能到加密货币、从服装时尚到超级英雄、从英美法律制度到法律话剧，学员们围绕不同的话题展开了激烈的讨论，思想碰撞的过程也迸发了许多智慧的火花。
在谈到人工智能的话题时，外教先抛出问题，询问大家提到人工智能你首先会想到什么，学员们则从不同的角度出发，表述了自己的观点，有的人回答“high IQ”,有的学员则说“Big data”，思想的碰撞一触即发。紧接着外教又从另一个角度去启发大家思考人工智能（artificial intelligence）和机器人（robot）的区别，表明机器人只是人工智能的一个载体。在谈论到人工智能的利弊阶时则是采用小组辩论的形式进一步去激发大家的参与度和积极性，学员们的热情十分高涨。

I pretty like our oral English class. Every time when we had a class, I felt very excited. Because our English teachers are very friendly and patient. The topics in our class were very useful and meaningful. They often encourage us to practice more and more. At the beginning of the class, I could not understand most of them, but now I have made progress. Although I still make mistakes, and my spoken English is still not very standard, I believe that as long as I continue to study, I can make a big difference.I am very grateful to our law firm for hiring so many good foreign teachers to help us. I am looking forward to the next semester's course.

During this term's english class, I felt both my english listening and speaking abilities were improved much ,but which is the most excited thing is that we met several excellent teachers,they have different academic background,like economy、education、law and so on, we learnt many different useful knowledges from the topic we talked about, and the teachers also had globolizational views,that made our class not only a place to train english skills, but also a best opportunity to broaden our horizons.I really like our class ,it was really great, and I am looking forward to next term so much !
