喜讯 | 法学院博士留学生荣获教育部2020年度“中国政府优秀来华留学生”荣誉称号

根据教育部最新公布的2020年度中国政府优秀来华留学生评选结果，大连海事大学推荐的越南籍法学专业博士生NGUYEN VAN TRUONG（阮文长）等三名来华留学生凭借在学术研究、社会贡献等方面的突出表现喜获“中国政府优秀来华留学生”荣誉称号。

According to the latest results announced by the Ministry of Education of China, the DMU PhD student in law, Mr. NGUYEN VAN TRUONG, was awarded the "2020-2021 Chinese Government Outstanding International Students in China" for his outstanding performance in academic research and social contribution.

作为国家对优秀来华留学生的最高荣誉，“中国政府优秀来华留学生”奖项旨在深入贯彻学习党的十九大精神，落实全国教育大会要求，扩大中国政府奖学金的辐射面和影响力，选拔并激励知华友华、品行兼优、成绩优异的来华留学生。该奖项自设立以来得到全国各所高校的高度重视、每年有千余名留学生参与评选。近年来，我校累计12名留学生先后荣获该奖项，获奖人数位居全国前列。

As the highest honor for outstanding international students, the award aims to implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC, implement the requirements of the National Education Conference, expand the radiation and influence of Chinese government scholarships, and select and encourage international students who know China and are friendly to China, have excellent character and conduct, and have outstanding achievements. Since its establishment, the award has been highly valued by universities across China, and more than 1,000 international students are selected every year. In recent years, a total of 12 international students from DMU have won the award, which is one of the highest numbers among Chinese universities.

阮文长简介 About the student

NGUYEN VAN TRUONG，中文名：阮文长，越南籍，大连海事大学法学专业2016级博士留学生，导师：初北平。作为越南海事大学优秀青年教师，该生于2015年9月在中国政府奖学金资助下在我校学习汉语一年，于2016年开始攻读法学（海商法方向）博士学位。在导师的悉心指导下，该生聚焦中国和越南两国在海商法领域的共同与不同之处，凭借较好的汉语水平、扎实的专业知识、刻苦的钻研精神，在学习和科研方面取得优异成绩，先后在多家具有影响力的国际期刊上发表6篇学术论文。该生热爱中国文化、积极参与校内外各类文化体育活动，在留学生中发挥了积极的模范表率作用，展现了海大留学生良好的精神风貌。

Mr. NGUYEN VAN TRUONG, Chinese name: 阮文长, a Vietnamese national, is a 2016-entry PhD student of Dalian Maritime University majoring in law, supervised by Prof. CHU Beiping. As an outstanding young teacher from Vietnam Maritime University, he studied Chinese language at DMU for one year in 2015 with the financial support of Chinese government scholarship, and started his PhD in Law (Maritime Law stream) in 2016. Under the devoted guidance of his supervisor, he has focused on the similarities and differences between China and Vietnam in the field of maritime law. With his good Chinese language skills, solid professional knowledge and diligent research spirit, he has achieved excellent results in his studies and research, and has published six academic papers in several influential international journals. He loves Chinese culture and actively participates in various cultural and sports activities both on and off campus, playing an exemplary role among international students and demonstrating the good spirit of international students of DMU.
