祝贺 | 法学院留学生BUTT M JAHANZEB获评第二届大连海事大学留学生突出学术表现奖一等奖

为及时了解留学生学业情况，对取得突出学术成果和社会贡献的留学生进行表彰和鼓励，营造良好学习氛围，“大连海事大学第二届留学生突出学术表现奖”评选活动于9月底启动，经过学生报名、材料审核、讨论决议，法学院留学生巴特（BUTT M JAHANZEB）凭借在国际会议参会、学术论文发表、导师评价等方面的突出成绩获评一等奖。

To have a clear view of academic progress of international students, to give recognition to those with outstanding achievements in academic field and social contribution, “The 2nd Outstanding Achievements Awards of International Students of Dalian Maritime University” election was commenced in end of Sept. With students application, evaluation and discussion, international student BUTT M JAHANZEB from the School of Law was honored the 1st of Outstanding Academic Performance Awards.

获奖人简介

Brief Introduction of Prize Winner

巴特，巴基斯坦籍，大连海事大学法学专业博士研究生。在巴基斯坦获得法学专业本科学位后，在英国赫特福德大学获得国际海商法硕士学位。在巴基斯坦和英国有从事法律及商务事务工作经验，自2017年起在巴基斯坦伊斯兰堡Bahria大学担任专职讲师同时担任国际海事法专业主要负责人之一。近年将研究方向主要集中在海洋及港口管理、环境法、海洋法、国际人道主义法律等领域。在多家具有国际影响力的国际会议、期刊上发表学术论文多篇。同时为宣传中国高等教育成果、抗疫成果、促进中外文化交流不断发挥积极促进作用。

BUTT M JAHANZEB, Pakistani, PhD (Law) Scholar at Dalian Maritime University, China. After completing a bachelor’s degree in law (llb) from Pakistan, he completed a master’s degree in international and maritime Law from University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He has also had experience of legal, commercial and transactional law while working in some reputed firms of Pakistan and United Kingdom. In 2017 he joined Bahria University, Islamabad as a full-time lecturer and was the key personnel running llm International and Maritime Law program. His recent research focuses on issues relating to the ocean and port governance, environmental law, law of the sea and international humanitarian law. He has published several academic papers on influential international conferences and journals and actively promoted the progress of Chinese advanced education and pandemic control on international platforms, greatly enhancing the mutual communication between China and other countries.
