Abra Appoints Shervin Pishevar as Co-Chairman on their Board of Directors
Abra, a global platform for digital asset prime services and wealth management, announces the appointment of Shervin Pishevar, a veteran venture capitalist, angel investor and philanthropist, to its Board of Directors as Co-Chairman. Shervin will work directly with Bill Barhydt, Abra’s Founder and CEO, who will also become Co-Chairman, on strategic initiatives to capitalize on the strong growth that Abra has achieved this year.

Decentralized AI Society Launched at Token 2049 to Foster Safe and Beneficial AI
The Decentralized AI Society (DAIS) will launch at TOKEN2049 to promote safe and beneficial AI by fostering collaboration among crypto and other organizations working in the nascent decentralized AI ecosystem. Supported by founding members CETI AI, Filecoin Foundation, Bloq, Hypercycle, Morpheus, Hemi, Odyssey and Lumerin, the nonprofit DAIS will help the industry join forces to overcome capital, engineering, policy and public-education barriers so it can better compete with the centralized model in the AI arms race. DAIS believes AI must be open and decentralized to serve humanity rather than the interests of a few tech giants.
