多伦多大学陈利教授和耶鲁大学张泰苏教授共同组织的2020-2021学年度“重新思考东亚法律的文化构建”国际学术讲座系列（英语）第四场，由《法律东方主义》作者洛德睦教授主讲 “中国经济发展和不平等简史”，并由康奈尔大学Odette Lienau 教授和於兴中教授评议。讲座将在北美东部时间2020年11月20日早上10点开始（北京时间周五11月20日晚11点开始）。

美国埃默里大学法学院Jonas Robitscher讲席教授暨《法律东方主义》作者洛德睦(Teemu Ruskola)老师 

Teemu Ruskola is Jonas Robitscher Professor of Law at Emory University, as well as an affiliated faculty member in History; East Asian Studies; Comparative Literature; and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies.  Ruskola is the author of 《法律东方主义》Legal Orientalism: China, the United States, and Modern Law (Harvard University Press 2013), co-author of Schlesinger’sComparative Law (Foundation Press 2009), and co-editor of a special double issue of the journal Social Text on “China and the Human" (2012).

美国康奈尔大学法学院副院长Odette Lienau教授

Odette Lienau is Professor of Law and Associate Dean for Faculty Research & Intellectual Life at Cornell Law School.  Her work focuses on sovereign debt and debtor-creditor relations, international economic law, international law/international relations, and law and political theory. Her first book, Rethinking Sovereign Debt: Politics, Reputation, and Legitimacy in Modern Finance (Harvard University Press, 2014), won a book award from the American Society of International Law, and her current research focuses on the tensions in the international rules associated with private wealth and sovereign borrowing. She has advised inter- and non-governmental organizations on sovereign debt issues and, prior to entering academia, practiced in the Financial Restructuring & Insolvency Group of Shearman & Sterling, LLP. She received her A.B. from Harvard College, her J.D. from NYU School of Law, and her Ph.D. in Government (Political Science) from Harvard University.

美国康奈尔大学法学院Anthony W. and Lulu C. Wang 中国法讲席教授於兴中老师

Xingzhong Yu is the Anthony W. and Lulu C.Wang Professor in Chinese Law at the Cornell Law School. His academic interests include social theory, comparative legal philosophy, Chinese law and legal history, constitutional law, new technologies and law, and cultural studies of law. Prior to joining Cornell Law School, he was with the Faculty of Law at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) where he taught jurisprudence, constitutional law and Chinese law. He holds an LLM and SJD from Harvard Law School, and while there was a lecturer on law, senior research fellow in EastAsian Legal Studies, and visiting associate professor. He has held various visiting academic positions at Beijing University's Department of Law, Northwest University of Politics and Law, Hangzhou Normal University, and the Australian National University. He is the author of numerous articles and five books, including Rule of Law and CivilOrders (2006) and Frontiers of Jurisprudence (2014).
