The La Trobe Business School in conjunction with Macquarie University, Monash University, Queensland University of Technology and Victoria University of Wellington invite academics and PhD students to submit papers to be considered for presentation at the11th Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Conference and PhD symposium (FMCG 2021). The conference and PhD Symposium will be held virtually.

CONFERENCE ACADEMIC SESSIONS
If the abstract is accepted, then authors should submit their full papers by email to fmcg2021@latrobe.edu.au on or before 28 February 2021. They will need to submit two copies of their papers in pdf format; one with authors' information provided and the other without this information. They should indicate at the time of submission whether they would like their paper to be considered for one of the best paper awards. They may only choose one Award category.
Five Conference Best Paper awards ($500 each)
One best paper award will be presented under each of the following categories

PhD SYMPOSIUM
PhD SYMPOSIUM SUBMISSION - Two stages of SubmissionAbstract (500 words maximum) of the paper MUST be sent by email tofmcg2021@latrobe.edu.au on or before 10 February 2021. Acceptance of the abstract will be notified on or before 17 February 2021. If the abstract is accepted, then PhD students should submit their full papers by email tofmcg2021@latrobe.edu.au on or before 28 February 2021. They will need to submit two copies of their papers in pdf format; one with authors' information provided and the other without this information. They should indicate at the time of submission whether they would like their paper to be considered for one of the best paper awards. They may only choose one Award category.

ELIGIBILITY of Award – PhD Symposium
Only the papers written by PhD students (sole authorship) will be considered for the PhD symposium award.
SELECTION CRITERIA FOR PhD SYMPOSIUM AWARDS
Members of the PhD symposium Award selection committee will assess all papers on the basis of their rigour, relevance and potential contribution to the literature.
Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (Elsevier’s Journal) and Accounting & Finance (Wiley’s Journal) will run a special conference issue and all presenters at the conference are invited to consider submitting their papers for publication.
