As both the lovely ladies strolled along the  lakeside promenade,in animate conversation,a young man came towards them from  the other end of the broken bridge.

Upon catching sight of the two beautiful  ladies,he,too,was enraptured;his eyes  drawn to the white lady,her brilliant eyes,nobel appearance and the air of elegance surrounding her every movement.

Surprised by the unexpected thunderstorm,he immediately  recognized the unfortunate situation of the two damsels(少女) in the distress(在困境中) who had found  a most insufficient shelter under an old gingko tree.

Quick of wit,he dashed to a peddle selling umbrella quite near.

Due to the torrential rains,all of the unbrellas,except one,were already  sold.

Without a moment’s hesitation,he bought the umbrella and raced as quickly as he could back to the gingko tree  to offer the two ladies his assistance.
