STL Movie Night at Library 

The library of the School of Transnational Law(STL) has prepared a movie along with popcorn & snacks for students to regulate their pressure on the second Friday of Q4. Saint-Omer was played and irritated a strong discussion among students.

STL Graduation Ceremony 

The Graduation Ceremony for Peking University School of Transnational Law was successfully held at Shenzhen Kylin Villa, more than 200 faculties and students joined and celebrated the successful graduation and extraordinary achievement in academics and professions of 159 STLers in 2023.

Night Run in Music

Wednesday night from 20:30 to 22:00, the fourth night running in music was held at PKUSZ athletic field. Running can not only get you healthy but also a chance to get wealthy (you can participate in the lucky draw if you have finished 3 km running)! Also, the night run will be expected to have every Wed night.

Top Ten Singers of PKUSZ Final

This Thursday 19:00 was held the grand feast of hearing, the top ten Singers strived to compete the only winner that night. In the end, Yu Zonghao from Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology Chinese Academy of Science wins the Champion. Congratulation!

Lakeside activity for Mental Health Festival

Five-two-five, pronounced like 我爱我 (I love myself)in Chinese, thus having the day for advocating self-caring and self-mental health awareness. By the Mirror Lake, the Nanfeng Psychology Society prepared psychological tests, self-portraits, and Q&A. Joining students would get an exquisite gift by lucky drawing.

A Salon for Culture Shock during Abroad in theUK

Zhao Lin, Amy, who graduated from Newcastle University will discuss the culture shock during her abroad in the UK and a way to improve English conversational skills through understanding ‘comprehensible input’. The Salon will be held at 15:00 in u-Space (third floor, by Lift No. 3 or 4) in the Library of University Town.

Public lecture at STL

Prof. Norman Ho invites Prof. Gerard McCormack from the University of Leeds in the UK to present a talk on ‘Discharge and Modification of Debts Under English (and Hong Kong) Law’ at STL Rm209. Students are welcome to join on-site or online.

Assistant Professor Yuan Li from the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering (SECE) was selected for the Forbes 30 Under30 Science and Healthcare list for his outstanding achievements in the field of artificial intelligence, making him one of the internationally recognized young outstanding talents.

Attack Defense in World Intelligence Driving Competition 

May 17-19, Prof. Li Hui and SECE team joining the 2023 World Intelligence Driving Competition have successfully defended against cyber attacks from rivals, demonstrating the outstanding performance of MIN-V2X private network with excellent security.

FONG Tsz Hei(方梓熙) is a year-three doctoral student at Peking University School of Chemical Biology and Biotechnology. He hopes to spread the voice of PKUSZ to the world and plans to study abroad, engaging in a multicultural society in the future.
