AP美史第一场考情复盘

整体难度

AP第一场考试难度与往年持平，考点都在考纲给的范围之中。按部就班的学习知识点，该记记、该背背、该练练，5分不是问题。

悄悄告诉大家侯老师的“正常备考”可是一点也不轻松，绝对不要想着偷懒⬇️

简答题（SAQ）

• 学生回忆SAQ1

⭕️题目: 

Causes of era of good feeling

✅答题方向：

1. the War of 1812, especially the Battle of New Orleans, boosted spirit of nationalism

2. Hartford Convention caused the demise of Federalist Party by exposing it as unpatriotic, giving James Monroe a short but desirable period of one-party rule

3. William Harrison defeated Shawnee Indians at Battle of Tippecanoe, securing Great Lakes region for frontier settlers

4. Because of embargoes and war of 1812, factories had recently mushroomed forth, which also foster patriotic pride
5. Monroe Doctrine also demonstrated American determination against European colonization

⚠️老师补充：

因为没有亲眼见到题，不知道要在哪一个给定的时间段作答或者是不是引言题或者漫画题。

如果是引言题，还可以考察“什么因素或者事件削弱the Era of Good Feeling.” 那么可能答题的方向就有1820年妥协案，John Marshall 的裁决，Panic of 1819等都造成了冲突，证明“美好感觉时代”并不那么美好。

Market revolution（题目不清楚）可能考的是market revolution的原因和影响。

✅答题方向：

1.原因：

1. factory system

2. improvement oftransportation(canal craze, turnpike craze, steamboat craze, etc.）

3. telecommunication,improvement of farming tools (steel-tip plow, mechanic reapers, cotton gin, etc) 

4. abundant source of labor and capital

2.影响：

1. specialization

2. urbanization

3. south more committed to one-crop economy

4. growth of urban capitalists

⭕️题目: 

Business structure in late 19th century to early 20th century（题目不清楚，不知是否有引言），大概考察方向：business innovation有哪一些？影响？不同的人如何应对？ 

✅答题方向：

1. Vertical integration (Andrew Carnegie’s U.S. Steel), Horizontal Integration(John D. Rockefeller) , Interlocking directories (J.P. Morgan)
2. Increase availability of and access to more product at lower cost; caused an uneven distribution of wealth, huge gap between rich and poor; business and government corruption
3. Governments were slow to regulate big corporation(Lassie-Faire) ; more labor unions and strikes

⭕️World War I（题目不够完整）

✅答题方向：

考到一战就要注意几个点👇

1. 政府更加管控经济

2. 黑人和女性在Homefront和battlefield角色的改变

3. 对Individual liberty的伤害（Espionage Act; Sedition Act; Schenck v. U.S.）

长论文（LEQ）

⭕️题目: 

Evaluate the extend of changes after American Revolution in the southern society(没有标明时间)

✅答题方向：

1.变化（Change）：

1. elimination of established church (eg: Virginia Statue for Religious Freedom by Thomas Jefferson）

2. in some upper south states like Virginia and Maryland, a small but notable number of idealistic slave-holders freed their slaves
   

2.连续性（Continuity）:

1. slavery retained

2. slave traded retained until 1808

3. women still did not legal and political rights

4. economy still reliant on exporting to Britain

5. political participation was still restricted to property-class

Evaluate the extend of changes after Civil War in the southern society(没有时间，假设到1900)

1.变化（Change）：

1. Huge economic and human loss in the south

2. Blacks are free, citizens, and granted voting rights (although much was deprived later)

3. public school system

4. less reliant on cotton-growing and more on industry (the idea of “New South”—textile industry and mining industry)

5. repudiated nullification

6. had to accept more federal rule

2.连续性（Continuity）:

1. still less urbanized
2. two-thirds of people still earned a living by farming
3. still committed to white supremacy(Jim-Crow segregation /Plessy v Ferguson)
4. literacy test, poll taxes, registration laws, and grandfather clause)
5. still committed to use black labor (sharecropping)

AP美史第二、三场备考建议

线上考试要求有所不同

AP美国历史线上/线下考试的时长、范围、题目分值相同，考法有所不同。

线下考试形式 vs 线上考试形式

这张对比图说明⬇️

1. 线下/线上Section IA和Section IIA完全一致；

2. 线下/线下Section IB都是3道简答题（SAQ），线下Q3/Q4二选一，线上没得选，但本质上来说没有区别；

3. 线下Section IIB为1篇长篇论文（LEQ），线上为2道必答简答题（SAQ），有本质区别。
