Single-molecule analysis in an electrochemical confined space

Here, we demonstrate that the electrochemical confined space could efficiently convert single molecule characteristics into measurable electrochemical signatures with high temporal resolution. The human telomere repeat sequence T8 was used as a probe to determine the electrochemical confined effect in a nanopore. Our results show that the nanopore with comparable confined space of the telomere repeat sequence exhibits the most distinguishable single-molecule signals which suggest the folded conformation of T8.
Recent advances in the preparation of Fmoc-SPPS-based peptide thioester and its surrogates for NCL-type reactions

120 mm single-crystalline perovskite and wafers: towards viable applications

Here we report a method to grow large single-crystalline perovskites including single-halide crystals: CH3NH3PbX3 (X=I, Br, Cl), and dual-halide ones: CH3NH3Pb(ClxBr1−x)3 and CH3NH3Pb(BrxI1−x)3, with the largest crystal being 120 mm in length. Meanwhile, we have advanced a process to slice the large perovskite crystals into thin wafers.
Ni-mediated C–N activation of amides and derived catalytic transformations

Recent advances in radical-mediated fluorination through C–H and C–C bond cleavage

Herein, we summarize the recent advances in radical-mediated C–H and C–C bond fluorination. Three types of transformations are discussed: (1) direct C–H abstraction/fluorination of alkanes; (2) decarboxylative fluorination of alkylcarboxylic acids; (3) ring-opening fluorination.

Synergistic effect of fluorination on both donor and acceptor materials for high performance non-fullerene polymer solar cells with 13.5% efficiency

A high performance polymer solar cells (PSCs) based on polymer donor PM6 containing fluorinated thienyl benzodithiophene unit and n-type organic semiconductor acceptor IT-4F containing fluorinated end-groups were developed. The PM6:IT-4F based PSCs yielded an impressive PCE of 13.5%, which is among the highest values to date.
