The section of Dianchi Lake Greenway encircling Caohai is positioned with a cultural charm, connecting historical and cultural resources to create a leisurely and ancient touring experience. It is designed to showcase the cultural heritage of the area and provide unique experience for visitors.滇池绿道环草海段以文化风韵为风貌定位，串联历史文化资源，营建古韵悠然的游览体验。
At the overall planning level, the construction of a three-tier system of "fast travel and slow tourism" around the lake is being developed. The outer level is the "Yunnan Scenic Road" which serves as a functional road for vehicles. The middle level is the greenway with a main pathway of 5-25 meters for cycling and walking. The inner level is an ecological monitoring footpath with a width of 1.5-2 meters, mainly for ecological monitoring and partial water activities. The main construction contents include a main greenway with a width of 5-25 meters, an ecological transitional belt covering an area of 840 hectares, and a greenway supporting service system which includes service stations, transportation connections, signage and guidance.在总体规划层面，构建环湖“快旅慢游”的三级体系，托外侧环湖公路的环滇风景道，以车行功能为主；中间的绿道主游径5—25米，以骑行、步行为主；内侧的生态监测步道1.5—2米以生态监测和局部亲水为主。主要建设内容包括宽度5—25米的绿道主游径；840公顷的生态过渡风景带；服务驿站、交通接驳、标识指引等绿道支撑服务系统。

Continuing westward from the entrance of Daguan Park, visitors can enter the northern section of the greenway encircling Caohai. This area is located on the west bank of Dianchi Lake and is surrounded by lush vegetation. There are several scenic spots, including forest trails and lakeside pathways. Dongfengba is located in the Caohai area of Dianchi Lake. It is a dam structure that serves as a front reservoir for Caohai and is located north of the No.2 Wetland near Yunliang River and west of Wangjiadui Wetland near Gaoyao Viaduct. The dam extends into Caohai, providing an excellent panoramic view of the Dianchi Lake scenery.

After the completion of the space below the greenway bridge, it will be open to the public.
“高峣古渡”浮桥也是目前很多人关注的景点之一，目前钢浮桥63张风帆已悬挂完毕，船面地板铺设也已施工完成，浮桥采用船型设计展现渔家码头场景和滇池渔文化，待绿道桥下空间段完工后，将向市民开放。
