Union Is Strength

When the bell rang,

2020 finally came.

Everyone was in a state of joy.

However,

2020 was destined to be an

extraordinary year.

钟声响起

2020年终于到来

所有人都沉浸在欢快之中

然而2020注定是不平凡的一年

A serious outbreak

 has broken out and

the virus spread rapidly 

in our country.

一场严重的疫情在中国爆发了

新冠病毒以极快的速度传播

As we all know,

the virus was highly contagious.

Unfortunately,

more and more people

were infected with the virus

and even passed away.

众所周知

新冠病毒具有很强的传染性

不幸的是

越来越多人感染了新冠病毒

而且因此死亡

What's worse,

lots of shops closed down

and our economy took a serious hit.

更糟糕的是

许多商店倒闭

我国的经济遭受到严重的打击

However,

during this short time,

the people of the whole country,

were united as one in fighting

this “war without smoke”.

Many selfless heroes have emerged

from all walks of life.

但是全国人民在这短暂的时间里

在这场无硝烟的战争中

万众一心 团结抗疫

各行各业纷纷

涌现了无数无惧奉献的逆行者

No man is born a hero.

Academician Zhong Nanshan 

was appointed to go to the front 

at the most dangerous moment.

Dr. Zhang Wenhong faced the virus 

with a tenacious spirit.

没有人生来就是英雄 

总有人用平凡成就伟大

钟南山院士临危受命

于最危难的时刻奔赴前线

张文宏医生以顽强的精神面对病毒

Deliverymen 

were not afraid of danger

and stuck to their posts.

Han Hong 

gave donations selflessly,

and only wished to

 make a modest contribution.

外卖小哥不惧危险，坚守岗位

韩红无私捐献物资

只希望能尽自己一份微薄之力

In order to live up to

the dedication of the heroes,

for us ordinary people,

staying at home is

the best way to protect ourselves.

为了不辜负逆行者们的奉献

对于我们老百姓而言

待在家里就是自我保护的最好方式

In addition to going out less,

除了减少外出

we should do the followings

我们还需要做到以下几点

1.Wear masks 戴口罩

2.Exercise more 锻炼身体

3.Wash hands 勤洗手

4.Keep away from wild animals

   远离野生动物

Although covid-19 

brought us a lot of pain,

most people still lived optimistically

in their own way.

For example,

medical staff

 danced happily with patients

to release their nervousness.

虽然新冠病毒给我们带来了许多悲痛

但很多人仍然

用他们自己的方式乐观地生活着

医护人员和病人一起开心地跳舞

以此来缓解他们紧张的情绪

With the epidemic under control,

our lives are gradually returning to

their proper appearance.

疫情被很好地控制 

我们的生活也

已经逐渐恢复为应有的模样
