April Fool's Day is also called All Fools' Day.
It originated from the French New Year.
On this day,
people “deceive” and play tricks
on each other in a variety of ways.
After making a fool of oneself,
people always say：
“I’m just kidding you!
Happy All Fools’Day！”
愚人节也称万愚节
它最早起源于法国新年
在这一天人们以各种方式互相欺骗和捉弄
捉弄完后会说声愚人节快乐
For instance,
if someone's birthday is on the April Fool's Day,
we will give him a large box
with "Happy Birthday" .
We are going to fill it with scraps of paper
and loosen the bottom.
例如
假如有人在愚人节当天过生日
大家就会送给他一个
写着“生日快乐”的大盒子
把盒子装满碎纸片
并把盒子底部弄松
When he picks it up,
the bottom will fall off and
pieces of paper fly all over the room.
The fool will spend the better part of
an hour cleaning up.
当他拿起盒子的时候
碎纸片肯定飞得满屋都是
准得让他收拾很久
In addition,
friends will play pranks on each other.
They will cheat us that
our shoes are untied or
there is money on the floor.
除此之外
朋友之间还会互相捉弄
他们会骗我们
说我们的鞋带没系好
或者说地上有钱
