UNStudio 快讯 | 库塔伊西国际机场扩建项目正式投入使用

UNStudio设计的库塔伊西国际机场扩建部分已完成竣工验收，于6月9日成功举办开幕式。

The reopening of the Kutaisi International Airport, following a large extension designed by UNStudio, was marked by an official ceremony on June 9.

库塔伊西原机场亦是由UNStudio 设计。目前新扩建后的库塔伊西机场，可满足年250万旅客的吞吐量，是该机场过去吞吐量的四倍。

The newly expanded airport can now cater to more than 2.5 million travellers per year, an increase of more than four times the passenger capacity of the previous terminal, which was also designed by our team.

扩建后的机场航站楼面积从原来的4,800平方米扩大到30,000平方米，值机柜台（包括2个行李托运柜台）从10个增加到18个。到达区的边防检查点由6个增至11个，出发区由8个增至14个。同时，机场内商业面积从200平米增大到2,000平米。

Following the extension, the area of the terminal increased from 4,800m2 to 30,000m2, while the number of check-in desks has increased from 10 to 18 (including two baggage drop-off desks). The number of border check points has increased from 6 to 11 in the arrivals zone, and from 8 to 14 on the take-off side, while the commercial space has increased from 200m2 to 2,000m2.

预计到2021年底，机场将连接华沙、维尔纽斯、维也纳、布拉格、柏林、多特蒙德、梅明根、雅典、布达佩斯、罗马和迪拜。

By the end of 2021, the airport will be serving destinations including Warsaw, Vilnius, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Dortmund, Memmingen, Athens, Budapest, Rome and Abu Dhabi.
