Iconic Moments
1996年9月6日，连接鹿特丹南北岸的伊拉斯姆大桥正式通车，投入使用。因其优雅的造型，这座由UNStudio设计的可开合式桥梁还被大家亲切地称为“天鹅桥”。在大桥落成以前，鹿特丹南岸与北岸的居民没有交集，只有船只在新马斯河上穿行入海。如今，它不仅被视作荷兰符号、鹿特丹地标建筑，更成为演出的舞台、运动赛事的场地、一些人重要的记忆组成。
On September 6, 1996, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands officially opened the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. This cable-stayed structure spans 802m across the New Meuse waterway is designed by UNStudio and with its 139m-high single pylon it has earned the nickname of “The Swan”. Before 1996, South never visited North, and North ignored South. The shipping magnates regarded the Nieuwe Maas as their personal highway to the sea, Now, it's regarded as Dutch symbol, Rotterdam landmark and even serves as performance stage, sports site, becoming part of public memory.

一名鹿特丹的水手每次看到大桥，就知道：自己回家了。于是他将”大桥"纹在背上。
A sailor living in Rotterdam, every time his ship comes back from time spent at sea, he sees the Erasmus Bridge and knows that he is home. The bridge is a part of his life. For him, above all else, this bridge symbolises home – and that’s the reason he chose to have it tattooed on his body.
