Teachers and students often eat lunch at school.Some of them have beef and drink tea.Some love green beans and ice cream.The food is delicious!

2. 教师播放歌曲“Who’s yourteacher?”录音,全班学生分男女生对唱,活跃课堂气氛。

二、课前预习(Preview)

1. 自由谈话,复习旧知

2. 问题接龙

学生在六人小组内合作,轮流回答并提问,答错或答不出的学生被淘汰,最后剩下的学生为优胜者。

三、新课呈现(Presentation)

1.Willow Primary School’s teachers.

(1)师生对话。

T: Do you want to go to a school inanother country?

Ss: Yes.

T: Today we’ll go to Willow PrimarySchool with Chen Jie and David.

(2)介绍情景。

T: Chen Jie is visiting Willow PrimarySchool in the UK. David is a student in the school. Now let’s know somethingabout the teachers in the school.

(3)学生同桌分角色练习读对话。

(4)学生自主阅读对话,回答下面的问题。

① Who’s David’s Chinese teacher?

② What’s Ms Zhang like?

Answer:

① Ms Zhang.

② She’s very kind, but she’sstrict sometimes.

(5)学生同桌合作,根据图片内容替换对话中关键词,重新编写新对话,谈论大卫学校的其他老师。

(6)学生拿出人物头饰上讲台表演对话,教师表扬表演到位的学生。

2.New friends in Willow Primary School.

(1)介绍听力任务。

    T: Chen Jie meets some new friends atWillow Primary School. They talk about the subjects during the days of theweek. Let’s listen to the tape and fill in the table.

(2)第一次播放教学录音,学生根据录音内容填写表格。

(3)再次播放教学录音,学生根据录音内容圈出正确档案。

(4)学生根据表格内容判断句子正误。

四、课堂小结(Summary)

师生一起总结本节课学习的知识,鼓励学生课后对所学知识加以应用。

五、布置作业(Homework)

1. 听录音,跟读本节课的学习内容。

2. 写一篇小短文,介绍你的老师和学校课程。

一、课前热身(Warm-up)

2. 播放歌曲“What do you liketo eat today?”的录音,全班学生跟着录音唱。

二、课前预习(Preview)

1. 教师出示食物图片,全班学生快速说出相应的英语单词。

2. 学生在四人小组内谈论自己最喜欢的食物,如:

S1:My favourite food is ice cream. What about you, S2?

S2:My favourite food is salad. What about you, S3?

S3:My favourite food is hamburger. What about you, S4?

S4:My favourite food is noodles. What about you, S1?

三、新课呈现(Presentation)

1.Willow Primary School’s menu.

(1)介绍背景。

T:In the last period, we know that Chen Jie is at Willow Primary School. She isvisiting the school. During her visit, we know about the teachers and subjectsin the school. Now we will learn about the school menu.

(2)教师用多媒体课件学校菜单,问:“What do they have on Mondays / …?”,学生根据菜单内容回答:“They have … on Mondays / …”

(3)介绍阅读任务。

T:Today is Monday. It’s time for lunch. Chen Jie is in the lunch room. Pleaseread the menu and the dialogue. Then fill in the blanks.

(4)请一对学生站起来用问答的方式呈现答案。

(5)Role-play

学生同桌合作,在白纸上画几个盘子,每个盘子上面有各种食物。一位学生扮演服务员,一位学生扮演客人,表演情景对话,如:

S1:What would you like to eat?

S2:A hamburger, please.

2.Chen Jie’s diary.

(1)简单介绍日记内容。

T:Chen Jie at Willow Primary School. She knows something about the teachers,subjects and school menu in the school. Then she writes a diary about what sheknows about the school. Let’s read the diary and tick or cross.

(2)学生自主阅读日记,并根据日记内容判断句子正(T)误(F)。

① There are many red flowers at Willow Primary School.

②David is clever and hard-working.

③ Thefood at school is delicious.

Answer:

① F, ② T, ③ T

(3)Find “friends” for the words in the diary.

学生从陈洁的日记中找出含有划线部分读音的单词,师生一起核对答案,然后教师带领学生把单词读几遍,最后学生在四人小组内读一读,并相互纠正错误的发音。

(4)Rearrange the words. Write down the sentences.

    学生给单词排序,教师请三位学生读一读句子,并让学生把自己喜欢的句子在抄写本上抄三遍。

四、巩固延伸(Consolidation & Extension)

课堂练习——学生仿照下面的短文,用适当的词代替画线部分的词,重新写一篇小短文,并在小组内阅读、评议。

Ihave a new teacher. She’s Miss Li. She’s very kind. She’s active, too. Herfavourite food is mutton. She likes her students very much. She often goesshopping and watches TV on the weekend.
