Superstar recognizes superstar on the self-explanatory EDM mega release Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, a big team LP that's as loud, and as lax, as expected. That latter bit is a minor quibble as the album is paced like a prime-time mainstream club set with no breathers or sensible pacing allowed, but "Don't Do Drugs Just Take Some Jack U" delivers on its ambitious title, as does "Take U There," especially in its remix featuring Missy Elliott. “Where Are Ü Now,” featuring Justin Bieber, is the most pop this mostly club-aimed monster gets, so go nuts, go dumb, and wait for the drop, because waking the neighbors or filling the floor are two things this album does with ease. ~
