说到农业，气候变化（点我回顾之前的相关专题）给农业带来了极大的挑战，世界上有数以亿计的农民和其家庭的生活和生计正受到气候变化带来的影响。

气候智能型农业（climate-smart agriculture, CSA）是一种指导行动的方法，旨在对农业系统改造和重新定向,帮助和支持其有效发展并确保在气候变化下的粮食安全。气候智能型农业（CSA）的三个主要目标是：持续增加农业产量和收入；建立和提高对气候变化的适应能力；在可能的情况下降低或避免温室气体排放。

所以今天的练习就是对气候智能型农业的简要介绍啦~

570 million farms around the world are facing the threat of climate change head-on. And yet we're demanding more from agriculture than ever before, more food for our growing population, better incomes for those working across the food chain and the careful management of our planet's soils and water resources. This is no easy task. 

How can our agriculture sectors step up to this challenge? The answer, climate-smart agriculture. Climate-smart agriculture aims to help find new ways to adapt and thrive under climate change. It's based on three interlinked goals, increasing agricultural productivity and incomes sustainably and equitably, helping food systems and farming livelihoods be more resilient and minimizing agriculture's greenhouse gas emissions. Farms of every type and every size can become climate smarter. 

For example, by identifying and promoting sustainable farming practices and tools, using inputs more efficiently and effectively to grow more from less and building markets where farmers can access what they need and sell any surplus of what they produce. Climate change is a challenge to our food system. But it's also an opportunity for us to innovate and adapt. Easy to say but hard to do. We must work together to become climate-smarter and to support the necessary technical policy and investment solutions that our farmers need.
