so far, so good 啥意思？

昨天，因为媒体的误译，so far, so good 这个习语火了一把。

那么 so far, so good 是“真棒”的意思吗？特朗普那条推特里的其他两个习语又是什么意思？一起翻翻词典吧。

其实 so far, so good 的意思是“到目前为止，一切还算顺利”，潜台词是“前景未知”，所以似乎还算不上很棒。

so far, so good【口】到目前为止还算顺利Concerning the weather, so far so good but it may rain this afternoon.说起天气，至今还好；不过下午可能有雨。We're over the wall. So far, so good. Now, we must swim across the river.我们越过了墙。到目前还顺利。现在我们必须游水过河。

而 all is well 是指“总体来说令人满意”。
all is well (with)总的情况是令人满意的It has taken a little time to recover from the accident but I'm glad to say that all is now well.从事故中恢复颇费了一些时间，但我很高兴地说，现在的情况是令人满意的。

后边可以接两个后半句，构成两句谚语：
all is well that ends well all's well that ends well【谚】结局好，一切都好；有好结果，就算好事I'm sorry you had such difficulty in finding us, but all's well that ends well and now we can enjoy ourselves.很抱歉，让你好不容易才找着我们，但找着了就算好事，而今我们可以尽兴地玩啦。
语源出自莎士比亚的一个剧目（《终成眷属》）。
