Milan Fashion Week, one of the four major global fashion weeks of the world, has always been a focal point of the fashion industry, with this year’s "Keqiao Day" revolving around the theme of "Continuous Research Co-Creates a Better Future," unfolding in the internationally renowned Isimbardi Palace, an architectural masterpiece blending history, nature, and art, witnessing countless legendary tales of fashion throughout its storied history - as this chapter welcomed Keqiao to its folds.

Essentially a "soft architecture" we carry and wear, fashion and fabric is the foundation on which its towers are constructed, serving as the cornerstone of the designers' dreams who see its skylines emerge in reality. Drawing inspiration from Keqiao itself, "Keqiao Excellence Exhibition’s" chief curator combined the area’s rich culture and picturesque scenery to create an immersive experience for guests from all four corners of the globe, through a combination of static and dynamic elements symbiotically creating an experience never before witnessed on the international stage. Ten high-quality enterprises, including "Dashu Textile," "Langbeni Textile," "Yisha Textile," and "Meishangmei Textile," played key roles, exemplifying the core competitiveness of Keqiao fabrics through their one of a kind craftsmanship, styles, and creativity, while demonstrating the diversity and vitality of the Chinese clothing industry at every turn - and through every stitch.时装是一栋栋随身携带的“软建筑”，面料就是“软建筑”的材料，也是设计师筑梦的基石。“柯桥卓越展”策展总顾问以柯桥这座人文荟萃、风光迤逦的江南水乡为灵感，通过静态与动态结合的形式，让来自世界各地的嘉宾“沉浸式”体验柯桥魅力。“大树纺织”“朗贝尼纺织”“懿纱纺织”“美尚美纺织”等10家优质企业参展，他们以各自独特的工艺、风格与创意，体现了柯桥面料的核心竞争力，也展示了中国服装产业的多样性和活力。
Yet another highlight of "Keqiao Day," the cross-border "Keqiao Excellence Show" featured four designers from China and Italy combined: the renowned Italian designer Alberto Zambelli, Angelo Cruciani, and Chinese local designers Ling Yali and Qi Bin, all of whom gathered in Keqiao, visiting local fabric enterprises, engaging in in-depth discussions, and spending several months in rapt in meticulous preparation. Together with six local fabric enterprises, the dual-nation team successfully integrated traditional Chinese culture with modern design, seamlessly integrating international trends, new fabric designs, and market demands to jointly innovate and create the myriad of pieces on display at this year’s proceedings.“柯桥日”另一重头戏是跨越国度的“柯桥卓越秀”。由意大利知名设计师AlbertoZambelli、Angelo Cruciani和中国本土设计师凌雅丽、齐斌4位设计师联合发布。前期设计师们齐聚柯桥，走访面料企业，与企业深入交流，经几个月的认真准备，设计师们与6家面料企业以中国文化结合现代设计，围绕国际新潮流、面料新设计、市场新需求，共同创新，携手完成此次秀演作品。

This year’s debut at Milan Fashion Week represents the official recognition of Keqiao fabrics by the Italian fashion world, known for its demand for perfection and the peak of luxury quality and design. Through bold, clear steps toward internationalization, Keqiao has established a unique combination of high-end positioning, industrialization, and fashion, resulting in its newly-minted position in Milan Fashion Week history, while November of this year will see Keqiao host the annual meeting of the 2023 International Textile Federation, the 6th World Fabric Merchant Conference, and Keqiao Fashion Week, sparing no effort in aligning the district’s local textile and apparel industry with international standards and continuing its relentless and exponentially successful campaign to further strengthen the area’s reputation as "Fashionable Keqiao" - and a spot amongst the top fashion capitals of the world.
米兰时装周的“初次亮相”，代表以奢华品质著称的意式时尚对柯桥面料的认可，柯桥迈开了向国际化、高端化、产业化、时尚化进军的坚实步履。今年11月，柯桥还将承办2023国际纺联年会、第六届世界布商大会与柯桥时尚周，全力推动本土纺织服装产业与国际接轨，持续擦亮“时尚柯桥”城市名片。
