Important Information for Patients Coming to BJU
Beijing United Family Hospital announces the latest updates on the process of visiting Beijing United Family Hospital, United Family Women's and Children's Hospital, Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital, and Beijing United Family Clinics.
According to the latest government regulations, patients and visitors who come to Beijing Untied Family Hopsital, United Family Women's and Children's Hopsital Hospital, Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital, and Untied Family Clinics should present negative nucleic acid test (COVID-19 test) result within 48 hours.

Beijing United Family Hospital
Outpatient and Emergencies:
Please go to BJU's fever clinic if you have a fever (greater than 37.3 degree celsius, underarm) and/or have the following symptoms: fatigue, muscle pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, dry cough, loss of smell and taste, diarrhea, conjunctivitis.
Please make an appointment for non emergency visits. All patients/family members/visitors entering BJU will be required to present negative COVID test result within 48 hours (paper report or result on Beijing Health Kit), have their temperatures taken, present the green code on Beijing Health Kit, and complete a COVID screening form. While in the hospital, please wear a mask at all times and maintain 1-meter distance from others. Only 1 accompanying person per patient please.
Patients who do not have negative COVID test result within 48 hours need to be directed to a designated area and take a COVID test first.
Patients who have COVID test appointment and come for COVID test cannot enter hospital buildings if they do not have negative COVID test result within 48 hours.
Patients in critical and emergency conditions and patients transported to the hospital by ambulance service will be treated through BJU's green channel process, whether the patients have negative COVID test result within 48 hours or not. BJU's Emergency Room or Fever Clinic will see the patients first.
From May 3rd, Beijing United Family Hospital will provide COVID test to patients coming for doctor's appointments.
Inpatient:
Newly admitted patients are required to take a COVID test prior to being admitted and take COVID tests on a regular basis after being admitted into the hospital.
Accompanying persons are not allowed in the inpatient area at this time unless it is necessary. If the patient does need company, only one company per patient is allowed with the same COVID testing requirements as the patient's. The accompanying person should be the same person during the patient's stay in the hospital.
While the patient is in the hospital, the patient and the accompanying person should follow the hospital's closed-off management rules of inpatient wards and should not leave the inpatient area without doctor's permission.
Hospital visits are not allowed unless it's necessary. The hospital encourages video or phone communications instead of visits while the patient is in the hospital.
United Family Women's & Children's Hospital
Outpatient and Emergencies:
Please make an appointment for non emergency visits. All patients/family members/visitors entering the hospital will be required to present the appointment information and negative COVID test result within 48 hours, have their temperatures taken, present the green code on Beijing Health Kit and trip card, and complete a COVID screening form. While in the hospital, please wear a mask at all times and maintain 1-meter distance from others. Only 1 accompanying person per patient please.

All patients and accompanying perons entering Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital will be required to present the appointment information and negative COVID test result within 48 hours (from May 5 2022), have their temperatures taken, present the green code on Beijing Health Kit and trip card, and complete a COVID screening questionnaire. While in the hospital, please wear a mask at all times and maintain 1-meter distance from others. Only 1 accompanying person per patient please.
Patients in critical conditions and patients transported to the hospital by ambulance service will be treated through the hospital's green channel process, whether the patients have negative COVID test result within 48 hours or not.
Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital does not have a fever clinic. If you have a fever (greater than 37.3 degree selcius, underarm) and/or have the following symptoms: fatigue, muscle pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, dry cough, loss of smell and taste, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, please seek medical help at a hospital with a fever clinic. Beijing United Family Hospital (北京和睦家医院) at #2 Jiangtai Road (朝阳区将台路2号) has a fever clinic.

Patients will be required to present negative COVID test result within 48 hours, have their temperatures taken, present the green code on Beijing Health Kit, and complete a COVID screening form. While in the clinic, please wear a mask at all times and maintain 1-meter distance from others.
Please note that United Family Guangqumen Clinic is currently closed until May 8th (or further notice) due to pandemic prevention and control measures.
All United Family Clinics in Beijing do not have fever clinic.
